Feedback request: AGI GET DATA change termination digits
Hi, this is my 1.st response to this list, i hope this will work. I tend to agree with Steven since just allowing other termination digits probaly wont solve your upcoming the issues anyway. I use a wrapper around the 'get digit' which allows me to specify that the * digit repeats the menu but maxium 3 times and if the * star digit is used twice in sequence (without other digits inbetween

how to collect user entered digits
Hello all, I have been searching thru all docs that I can find on wiki and such but can not get an answer. I am trying to collect a date from user input in the form of digits dialed from the phone to use in an agi script to do a database look up. I have tried to use "Get Data filename, timeout, maxdigits " in the agi script. In * console I get message saying playing filename but it

I need to make an IVR system work and I choose working with AGIs, written in Perl. The available documentation I've found show it as a very simple proccess, but it doesn't work for me... and I

Max sig figs as well as Min in print?
Hi Folks, Consider the following example (artificial, but it illustates the point): > r2<-sqrt(2) > x<-2-r2*r2 > print(c(pi,sqrt(pi)),digits=5) [1] 3.1416 1.7725 > print(c(pi,sqrt(pi),x),digits=5) [1] 3.1416e+00 1.7725e+00 -4.4409e-16 whereas I would prefer [1] 3.1416 1.7725 0.0000 which could be achieved by > print(c(pi,sqrt(pi),round(x)),digits=5)

agi dial termination cause ?
Hi All, in an AGI script, if executing the Asterisk command Dial, I only get result => -1 (if the call has been answered by the callee) and result => 0 (for everything else) Question: how can I know if the call was not answered because of timeout or because the callee was busy ? (I'm using Asterisk 1.8) Thank you very much for supporting, regards and have a nice day. Mike

Trouble with AGI and SAY DIGITS and WAIT FOR DIGIT using PHP
Hi there, AGI is partially not working for me with SAY DIGITS, SAY NUMBER, WAIT FOR DIGITS etc. It appears that result is always one for any function that looks for user input, regardless of which key was pressed. Playing sound is only possible using EXEC. This applies to two * servers with RH 7.2 and RH 7.3 and very recent CVS. Any suggestion or tips about where I goofed? Thanks, Philipp

Mitel 5055 phone
Hello, I have seen the Mitel 5055 SIP phone mentioned a few times on the list, does anyone have any wonderful or horrible things to say about it? We are thinking about using them because they have many more programmable buttons than the Snom200 phones and are about $70 cheaper. Thanks, MATT---

Hierarchical factors
Hello, Hierarchical factors are a very common data structure. For instance, one might have municipalities within states within countries within continents. Other examples include occupational codes, biological species, software types (R within statistical software within analytical software), etc. Such data structures commonly use hierarchical coding systems. For example, the 2007 North

MeetME Conferencing
Can anyone point me to a sample or information on using MeetMe like this? Conference room is set up with 2 PINs, one for the moderator and one for the participants. Participants get music until the moderator joins (to avoid wild, un-moderated tangents). Call is ended and all participants are kicked out when the moderator leaves (or the moderator can kick everyone out via phone keypad).

More files randomly corrupted
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Still having that problem with samba seemingly corrupting files, it seems to be the same files that are corrupted again and again, yet they are corrupted differently and sometimes not. I ran my md5 summer against one file ch02.pdf, and it almost contineously corrupts, I checked in a hex editor and there are some differences. Yet the problem is that

MeetMe with AGI scripts
I've had a quick look through the mail list and wiki but haven't yet resorted to looking at the meetme source code.. I see references to a background agi script that can run if you're using Zap channels. Am I right in saying that that script runs for each channel in the conference? Or is it a one time deal, running when the conference is created? The backgrounder behind my question is

sip phone problem
Hi all. I have 2 ip phones (Grandstream Budgetone): -budgetone1 -budgetone2 All two are connected to an Asterisk server. When I make a call from budgetone1 to budgetone2, I can speak with budgetone2 whith no problem. But when budgetone2 hangs up, budgetone1 does not play any tone (like busy tone). Budgetone1 seems to be still in conversation, but what conversation! Has anyone had a problem
