SIP INVITEs borked with iconnecthere
Symptoms: when calling my iconnect phone number (13033913323 in my
bogus example below) from my cell phone, I can see that the call
makes it to my asterisk server, and my phones even ring once as *
passes the call through during the "180 Ringing" period. However, it
seems that iconnecthere.com cannot see my "100 Trying" and "180
Ringing" messages, as they

iconnect / asterisk ? calls hang up

i got iconnect to work, works pretty well now except calls sometimes (more often than not) hang up after a couple of minutes.. heres a bit of the debuging

Using multiple iconnecthere accounts
Has anybody out there tried to use two different iconnecthere accounts
with Asterisk?
What I want to do is use a second account if the first is busy.
I have tried the following:
exten=>_91NXXNXXXXXX,1,StripMSD,1
exten=>_1NXXNXXXXXX,2,Dial,SIP/BYEXTENSION@iconnect ;iconnect is the

Anyone else lose iconnecthere service in recent CVS?
For the past several days I can no longer use iconnecthere with
asterisk. It is broken in BOTH directions; I can neither make nor
receive calls.
On outbound calls I get an immediate error:

On incoming calls, the call switches through OK, and for a few seconds I

iconnect 480 unavailable msgs
Hi guys
i signed up to iconnect a few hours ago to try do some cool stuff. but im having a few problems. Im running asterisk and xp/xlite softphone.. both xp box and asterisk box are on public ips.
The problem is that when i ring anyone in the world it'll ring they'll pickup and i can hear them 100% perfectly/clearly.. but they cant hear me.. occasionaly they can hear something like a

Great concept but a few issues unresolved
The past week or so I have been experimenting with Asterisk and overall
find it to be a nice software suite, although I have encountered some
problems, and have found almost no documentation (For example in
sip.conf I needed the commands fromuser= and fromdomain= and only
figured out this was possible after spending a few hours browsing on the
internet and reviewing some person's configuration

Deltathree icomming problem
Hi,
I have a deltathree account and I can place calls but I can't receive calls. I use Grandstram sip phones. When I call my deltathree phone # the voicemail is answer :((
I need some help and solutions from the guys who allready are using deltathree. I search on Internet and I try all types of configurations... :(

iconnect and Asterisk
Hello All,
I have gone thru all the resources I could find on google on asterisk + iconnect and managed to get outgoing calls working. However,
I cannot get incoming calls to work at all. With the sip debug on, I can see that something is happening everytime a call is received
from iconnecthere, but I get an invalid tone on the caller side. The call never rings anywhere on the asterisk. Would

Unable to find IP address???
This morning, I received a very strange error message on the Asterisk
console.
The error occurs when I try to access iconnect
WARNING[196621]: File chan_sip.c, Line 386 (__sip_xmit): sip_xmit of

SIP calls no longer work
Hello,
I'm having a problem with SIP. More specifically, I
can't make any calls using SIP.
I have had an iConnectHere account and Free World
Dialup account working for quite some time, and now
all of a sudden I can't make any SIP outgoing calls.

When I make a call using sip, I get the line

I assume that from your previous post that you are using iconnect
Is your register line in the format:
Register => 18005551212:1234@213.137.73.178/18005551212
I've had good luck using the IP address vs. the fully qualified
hostname. Remember that the register line goes in the [general] section
of sip.conf. Also, are you using the latest CVS release of *?

iconnecthere 480 error: is there a workaround?
I am going to have to find a fix for this problem or I'm going to have
to quit using iconnect.
About one call in 10 or so, iconnect's gateway gives me an error
(console output appended below).
So upon receiving the error, which as a 4XX error means, "Fatal,"
asterisk gives up and drops the call. But not iconnect!! The phone at
the other end starts ringing, and rings

CallerID through iconnecthere not working
I can't get the callerid feature to work when being passed through
iconnecthere.
Is it even possible to specify your own callerid using iconnecthere?

This is kind of a repost of one part of a previous question I have had.

I see that there is 0ms Jitter set. How can I set a Jitter buffer
for use with sip channels?
I can't seem to find any documentation about this.
