Let's TALK ABOUT IT!!!
Everyone seems to be working on their own servers that are in there homes, offices and elsewhere. The only common thread is this list-serv. I have several * servers set up here in Austin, Texas. I propose we set up one of them with with all the list-serv members. At this time the calls would be limited to on-net calls only to other members. As the project grows and other members add servers we

Ahah. I will end this here. I misread the newsgroup address on the original 'what's happening here', assuming it was for the vox group, which encourages idle rubbish. I hit reply, and believed I was mailing to this group. I apologise for wasting the bandwidth if icecast group members with such things. This is also why I did not hide my headers. If you like, mail me off-list and I

I appreciate everyone's response. It's glad to see there are others out there... However, I still have seen a number of posts that have gone unanswered and some frustrated users (keyword: users) such as myself. Currently my issues are: Unable to start icecast from init.d (error: "You can run, but you can't hide" repeatedly output until it almost crashes my box) Unable to

Regarding tests you can perform on the windows side: A couple of months ago, a samba user wrote in this group explaining that the easiest way to reproduce op-lock break timeouts was to select 10 or 20 so MS Word files and open them all once. (I've tried multiuser test programs which lock regions, write CRC'ed data and checks it etc, but I can't find anything that beats MS Office

Beta testers for visual configuration tool for asterisk
Hi All, We've been developing for a while an IDE for Asterisk, and the time has come to open it for beta testers. You can check at www.instant.com.br/viv.html for a snapshot of the application. Build on Itanium fails
Hi Guys, I hope this is the correct mailing list for this question. I have a dual 1.6 Ghz Itanium with 4 Gb of memory. Yes, a lot of power for Asterisk. Now building something on Itanium is almost always a bit of a challange. This is unfortunately
