Hey everyone, I'm trying version 1.0rc2, via the rpm at ATrpms. I'm running on CentOS 4.3 on an Opteron system. I have this running stably on a 32 bit system, but I'm crashing constantly on a 64 bit system. Here's what I'm getting in my mail logs when I try to log in via IMAP: Aug 3 15:01:21 lisa dovecot: imap-login: Login: user=<scottz>, method=PLAIN,

named is up but does not respond to queries
CentOS 4.1/bind-9.2.4-2. I have named serving as a cache DNS server plus SOA for a local intranet zone. The problem I am encountering - over a period of time it stops responding to queries. nmap scan from a different host shows port 53 is visible. I can telnet to the port but all queries to server time out. So much so that "service named status" and "service named

Nginx, Mongrel, Proxy and REMOTE_ADDR
I''m using a cluster of mongrels behind an apache 1.3 proxy pass. I''ve been passing the request to pen, which in turn balances the cluster of mongrels. Now, I''d like to be able to use a different server to send the static files created by the rails application, so I tried to replace pen with nginx. Everything seems to work fine except the environment variable REMOTE_ADDR.

cyrus-imapd - unable to connect to POP3
This is the first time I am using cyrus-imapd package. I am unable to retrieve messages (pop3). At first, I had not entered the cyrus-master in /etc/hosts.allow and was getting connection refused. After adding the entry I am able to connect to port 110 but for some reason the pop3 server is failing the password authentication (see below). With the same userid/passwd I am able to ssh into the

*67 with Sipura 3000
How can I dial *67 on a Sipura 3000 if I dial from a SIP phone connected on an asterisk server. I always get a message saying that authentication failed for INVITE for sip221@192.168.1.6. If I dial a number without doing *67 it's working fine... sip 221 being the extension of my Cisco phone and 192.168.1.6 being the IP of my asterisk server... I have my outgoing context configure

tinc vs. ipchains masquerading
Howdy, I tried tackling this on irc with Ivo, but I suspect that irc may really not be the best medium for technical discussions, so I'll reprise it here. I am trying to duplicate the "tinc from behind a masquerading firewall" example from the tinc web site: (home) <--> (masquerading firewall) <--> (office) 192.168.1.21 192.168.1.1/1.2.3.4

CentO 8 and nftables default policy
I had the same problem. If you are not using virtual machines then # systemctl disable libvirtd works and is easily reversible. Libvirt Python Bindings - Remote Connection using openAuth.
Hi, I am using libvirt with python binding, and I want to connect to a remote host. I was able to connect after making ssh certificate, but It is not applicable for my project. So I want to use openAuth() method, but I could not succeed connecting to a remote host using it. Here is my code ------------------------ import libvirt USER = "root" PASS = "mypasswd" def

Sipura line 1 outgoing voice problem?
Back in January I started having a problem with my Sipura (and there was at least one other on the list with the same problem) that if I answer an incoming call (via X100P) on line 1 of my Sipura, the caller cannot hear any voice from the internal extension. If the internal user puts the external user on hold (via flash hook) and returns, both directions of audio are fine. Line 2 never has

Recovering a broken mirror
We have a production SunFireV240 that had a zfs mirror until this week. One of the drives (c1t3d0) in the mirror failed. The system was shutdown and the bad disk replaced without an export. I don''t know what happened next but by the time I got involved there was no evidence that the remaining good disk (c1t2d0) had ever been part of a ZFS mirror. Using dd on the raw device I can see data

Frustrating experience - Xen networking.
Hello, I am having a frustrating time trying to get bridge networking working. I''ve gone over the Wiki page on the topic, a few of the howtoforge pages and everything that I am doing is failing utterly. What I want to achieve is to have Dom0 be a stub running two DomUs. One DomU being a router/firewall and the other being the rest of what is on the current machine.
