Asterisk BoF: Boston, Sept _2[2-4] - interested?
There was some talk on the IRC channel about getting a
convention/conference together for Asterisk users. While I do not
have the authority (or time) to make such a proposition, I'd like to
see if I can gather some support for a BOF (Birds Of a Feather)
meeting on a somewhat smaller scale and in a shorter timeframe.

Last call: Asterisk BoF in Boston, Tuesday 23rd
Hello -
The final schedule for the Asterisk birds-of-a-feather meeting (as
an adjunct to the VON conference) in Boston looks like this:
Tuesday, September 23rd at 8:15 at VinnyT's of Boston near the Hynes
Convention Center.
We'll try to get a corner booth in the "downstairs room", and look
for the guy wearing the blue button-down shirt with VON logos on the
breast pocket

Folks,
We are contemplating holding a Birds of a Feather session titled "Julia and LLVM: Implementing a fast dynamic language for technical computing" at the LLVM 2012 European Conference on April 12-13 in London.

Would this be of interest to the LLVM developer and user community? It would be great if you could drop me a line. It will help us gauge

LLVM Developers Meeting JIT BoF -- Request for Topics of Interest
Hi All,
The 2020 Virtual LLVM Developer's Meeting is coming up the week after next.
I'll be hosting a JIT Birds-of-a-Feather session on Thursday the 8th at
10:55am PDT (See http://llvm.org/devmtg/2020-09/schedule/). I'm planning to
run this more like a Round Table: Minimal introduction, plenty of time for
discussion.
Does anyone have any LLVM JIT related topics that they would

LLVM Developers Meeting JIT BoF -- Request for Topics of Interest
Hi Andres,
A topic that I'd find interesting is what it'd take to make it easier to

LLVM Developers Meeting JIT BoF -- Request for Topics of Interest
Hi,
I would like to discuss the future/potential use-cases of LLVM JIT. I'm
also interested in reducing the compilation time of code in JIT component
independent of static compiler. Is it sounds interesting? :)

LLVM Developers Meeting JIT BoF -- Request for Topics of Interest
Hi Geoff,
Importing symbols into the JIT from an object file or static library...?
Sure! Are you interested in doing this with the C API, LLJIT, or raw OrcV2
components?
The high-level answer here (which we can dig into further in the BoF) is:
For object files:
- For raw OrcV2 components you'll want to create an
RTDyldObjectLinkingLayer or ObjectLinkingLayer and use the 'add'

Gluster Summit BOF - Testing
Hi all,
We had a BoF about Upstream Testing and increasing coverage.
Discussion included:
- More docs on using the gluster-specific libraries.
- Templates, examples, and testcase scripts with common functionality as a jumping off point to create a new test script.
- Reduce the number of systems required by existing libraries (but scale as needed). e.g., two instead of eight.

[LLVMdev] BoF on Memory Safety, Debugging Tools, and Automated Defense
Dear All,
Just a reminder that we'll be having a Birds of a Feather (BoF) session
on memory safety, debugging tools, and automated defense at the LLVM
Developer's Meeting today at 2:45 pm.
If any of these topics interest you, please drop by! Santosh and I are
especially interested in learning about how others want to use memory
safety and related techniques.

An R BOF meeting at the JSM?
The BOF in the subject line is a "Birds Of a Feather" meeting. This
is a chance for people who normally only get the chance to communicate
via e-mail to actually sit down and talk to each other in person.
I plan to be at the Joint Statistical Meetings in Dallas in August.
If you will be attending and would be interested in getting together
with some other R folks, please e-mail me and

LLVM Developers Meeting JIT BoF -- Request for Topics of Interest

I have only encountered one problem. If a static library has not been

Was the static library compiled with large code model too?
I think this is probably a RuntimeDyld bug: It's not great at error
reporting. A few people in the

Hi Geoff,
We use LLJIT. Do addObjectFile() and StaticLibraryDefinitionGenerator work

They do. :)
I've not tested StaticLibraryDefinitionGenerator extensively on Linux. but
we have a regression test checking basic usage. If you run into any trouble
at all please file a bug and assign it to me.

[LLVMdev] BOFs at LLVM Developers' Meeting
Unique to this year's Developer Meeting, we will have Birds-of-a-
Feather sessions (BOFs) that will coincide with the talks. For those
unfamiliar with BOFs, these are attendee organized meetings for people
to meet, exchange ideas, and share information on a variety of topics.
BOF slots will be 40 minutes long. BOFs will be printed on the
official schedule and be put on the website so
