monitoring the asterisk and safe restart
Hi List,
I am sorry that I may bring the old question to the community. My question
is
1. How can we determine if asterisk is working normally or not ? what kind
watchdog process do we have at this moment ?
2. In case the running asterisk is mulfucntion, is there any available way
to auto restart asterisk ??
Please advise if you could.
Thanks.

MGCP question
Hi List
I have one question about MGCP in asterisk. I have a media gateway, and I
want to have asterisk to work with the media gateway. As I was told that the
media gateway can communicate with the switch via standard interface
MGCP/ICGP. Question is if the asterisk MGCP supports such MGCP message ???
Thanks.

RGL 3D plots are flat. Please Help
Hello,
I have a matrix of simulated data that I want to plot as a 3D surface using RGL. Have followed the documentation carefully, but my plot only contains a weird "single slice" of the data.
The actual RGL library and dependance seem fine as all of the demo code plots beautifully.
The actual command I'm using is: rgl.surface(x,z,d,

[AMDGPU] Strange results with different address spaces
Hi dev list,
I am currently exploring the integration of AMDGPU/ROCm into the PACXX project and observing some strange behavior of the AMDGPU backend. The following IR is generated for a simple address space test that copies from global to shared memory and back to global after a barrier synchronization.
Here is the IR is attached as as1.ll
The output is as follows:

Don't know how to calculate timelen

I'm setting up my first * install and have it peering with another * machine

So far I have the IAX "friend" set up correctly but when I make a test call
from an external phone, I get:

Understanding NAT Traversal
Quick question re. NAT traversal.
I understand how sitting behind a NAT could cause problems for a SIP UA.
The SIP UA would create SIP mesages using IP addresses from inside the
network (i.e. 192.#.#.# or 10.#.#.#) and these IP addresses are of course
unnavigable for the recipient.
What I don't get is why don't web browsers suffer the same problem?
A web brower behind a NAT sends an

Hello Shorewall gurus, I have a dilemma with a public server. I want to migrate the current public server over to a new machine behind the current server''s firewall (shorewall 1.4). Samba odd behaviour on double NAT network
I'm using a rather strange config, borne out of neccessity rather than
choice at home. My internet 'router' is a Win2000 Pro box running
Winroute, and my three Linux boxen (running 7.2/8.0/9.0 RH) are networked
thru to the Win box using SNAT on the box I work on (don't ask why - it's
just pratical, and I can't afford a hub/switch to do this). In any case,
