PHP Web interface testing and RFC
OK let’s start out with this.
I’m not a pro GUI designer… ?
Now that that’s done. Welcome to OpenConf. At least that what we
call it now.
To config an * file click on the filename to the left. For my example
use extension.conf.
Now you’ll have a FULL text editor and a parsed list of all the
[sections] in the extensions.conf file on your left. On the right you
will find any numbered var’s

DynExtenDB
I have been fooling around with DynExtenDB and run into two glitches.
1) The code is looking for (chan->dnis) and in my case I find (null). I
forced (chan-dnis) to be the same as (chan->exten). So far so good. Now I
can connect and talk. This lead me to the second glitch.
2) As soon as the call ends by hanging up, the code issues a
(ast_spawn_extension). This causes asterisk to drop

PHP Web Interface helpers
I have given the PHP code demo'ed at
http://rads.netcom.utah.edu/openconf/openconf.php to Mark at Digium
and he may soon be putting it into CVS space for all to use. I need to
find out if there is anyone out there that would like to help
co-author/build the PHP web project along with me?
I would like someone to help merge changes and coordinate updates etc.
I have recieved a lot of emails

Dynamically setting up/tearing down extensions
Hello, * newbie here,
I'm designing a setup that is to eventually be used in a production
virtual PBX/VoIP service.
Customers need to be able to change their setups over the web - I want
them to be able to do simple things like setting up call forwarding, as
well as more intricate stuff that will require me to re-generate their
dialplans.
Administration of the service is to be

OK, I understand a bit better where your problems lie. I would still use
backports, supported code is (hopefully) better code :-)

ATA 186 & DynExtenDB (query extensions vía sql)
Hi all:
Very disappointed, finally I left the attended call transfer with ATA 186
using SIP. With image 2.16-1, ATA sens '486 - Busy Here' when trying to
transfer the call.. I consulted with Cisco guys and accepts that some
problems with this service exist. Soon as I can I will try using MGCP.
My doubt now is if somebody proved the DynExtenDB application. I read some
commentaries but

Dynamic extensions without using DynExtenDB?
Hi,
Am using Asterisk to call peoples phone as part of a service of my website. It will call people for various things...one of them to tell people sports scores. I am using several sound files to piece together a dynamic message saying who played and what the score was. The problem is that I can hardcode the sound files that are needed to play and it works fine, but I cannot hardcode the

IAX2 protocol
I have committed my first stab at chan_iax2. IAX2 is a work in progress
and is designed to fix some of the original design limitations of the
first IAX protocol. This runs on a separate port number (4569) so it will
not affect any of your existing IAX connections. So far, here is a list
of the features for IAX2:
* Separate ACK field to reduce the number of ACK messages required to be
sent

ACD
Good day,
Our installation needs a robust ACD application (as I'm sure others
do) that can be dynamically reconfigured (if possible) maybe by a MySQL
database. I have looked at Bill Heckel's ACD work and Andreas Otto's
DynExtendb as well as James Sharp's ACD. None of these seem to be quite
finished. Is there a chance a unified (* blessed) ACD application can be

Bugs that Need Your Input!
Hello,
I know that Mog was trying to get the bug-tracker cleaned up as
the number of bugs has increased substantially over the past few months. I
figured that I would do my part to bring attention to a couple of bugs
that are interesting and have some wide reaching impact. That being said:

Call completion/error codes and extensions.conf call flow
There was a conversation last night on the IRC channel between
myself, Corydon76, citats, and kram on the ability of a call process
to access the error (or success?) codes underlying a call. I'm
uncertain if anything came out of it, but I'll re-hash here to
solicit other comments.
My idea: I'd like to be able to get to error codes when a call passes
through some kind of action
