Eicon DIVA PCI ISDN cards (not server) work with asterisk!
I just wanted to let you know that it's possible to use Eicon DIVA PCI 2.01 ISDN cards (not "server" divas) with asterisk. First thing to do is to load the module. If you have two of these cards, you should do it like that: modprobe -v hisax protocol=2,2 type=11,11 And now you can have up to 4 incoming calls with two cards (try calling yourself and see if anything gets into

Busy message on ISDN cards?
Hi all, I'm new to asterisk and not too knowledgeable on ISDN, so please be gentle :) I have a dual-channel Eicon Diehl Diva card in a Debian Woody box with kernel 2.4.27, connecting to a Telstra (Australia) Onramp Home Highway ISDN line. I'm pretty certain the card and line both work since they've been used in this machine for PPP before this (but with an older kernel with DoV

Eicon DIVA PCI ISDN cards (not server) work withasterisk!
Hello Marc, Could you post the install details for the Diva PCI? I have a Diva Pro PCI 3.0 and I am looking to get it working... I am running Debian Testing. So far it appears there are a few things floating around but I am not certain which direction to go. I know I need to load the firmware first. I did manage to load the modules ok. Thanks, Greg -----Original Message----- From:

multiple EICON Diva 2.01 PCI ISDN cards with Asterisk - possible?
Hello, I'm thinking of deploying Asterisk. I already have a handful of EICON Diva 2.01 PCI ISDN cards. I was thinking if it's possible to insert 4 such cards to my PC-Asterisk server (which I yet have to install) and use them as 4 lines in case anyone has to call me in / I have to call out using ISDN line(s)? Any reply appreciated. Tomek

Error compiling Eicon Diva from source
Hello everyone, I'm having some errors while compiling the source code for an Eicon Diva BRI card. I am using Fedora Core 6 with a compiled from source Linux kernel 2.6.19. I have downloaded the Eicon Diva source RPM (divas4linux_EICON-106.12-1.i386.rpm) and installed it already. When I go to /usr/lib/eicon/divas/src/ and run ./Build, everything starts correctly until that part where it has

Looking for US ISDN card...
Not having a whole lot of luck... I've decided I need to open up the search to cards with S/T interfaces and just find an NT1, too. Can someone with experience give me some pointers what would be easy to find, and easy to configure under Linux? I've stumbled across an Eicon card that's just labeled "DIVA T/A PCI", both on stickers and printed on the circuit board. Is this

ISDN BRI active adapters with NT mode - any alternatives ?
Having ISDN FXOs and a bunch of ISDN DECT base stations, I went looking for a CAPI compatible active BRI adapter capable of NT mode. I have found that the 'Eicon Diva Server 4BRI' fulfills theses requirements. However, at EUR 1387 for four BRI interfaces, it does not come cheap. Are there other users of similar hardware that can point me to alternatives ?

What types of ISDN BRI cards work well in Europe (Guadeloupe, Martinique and France) ? For example: AVM C2 or AVM C4 or eicon Diva server 4 BRI? Any others? Which driver is appropriate? Outgoing DTMF when using BRI & i4l (Eicon Diva) - problems
Hello all, This afternoon I had a BRI line installed by Telstra (our telco in Australia). I'm using an Eicon Diva 2.02 PCI ISDN card with the isdn4linux driver. Incoming and outgoing calls with Asterisk work fine (and with no echo - my main reason for getting ISDN). However, I can't seem to get outgoing DTMF working (incoming works fine). I made a call from my desk phone (Cisco 7940G)

Compilation problem chan_capi and Eicon Diva 4Bri
Hi *, I want to integrate the Eicon Diva 4Bri Card to Asterisk. Eicon drivers and capi is installed. I use the latest dev version from eicon compiled and installed for my fedora 2 system. I found the chan_capi for asterisk from www.junghanns.net. Also loaded the patch and applied to the chan_capi source tree. I changed the Makefile to include the capi20.h from eicon:

CAPI is independent here. Ok.

problems with chan_capi 0.3.5 , divactrl, eicon diva server, and kernel 2.6.10/2.6.12
Hello all, I'm having problems getting chan_capi 0.3.5 to work well with an Eicon Diva Server card using using the driver from linux kernel both 2.6.10 and 2.6.12 (vanilla versions). I have a (really two) producci?n system(s) running chan_capi in another identical Eicon Card using kernel 2.4.27 and the Diva Server drivers from Eicon. I installed an compiled the source level rpm

ISDN connection problem (i4l, not asterisk)
Sorry for a slightly off-topic question, but I'm getting desperate. I tried to use asterisk to talk w/ ISDN line and tracked the problem to i4l. I have a Diva PCI 2.02 (S/T) card and am running RH8 w/ 2.4.20 kernel (first version that supports the 2.02 w/ hisax driver). The switch is a 5ESS running NI-1 protocol. The card sync's up and reports other traffic on the line, but fails to

Eicon Diva 2.01 PCI Passive BRI ISDN card
Hi Guys! I got a Diva passive ISDN card and I can't get it work with asterisk 1.4, It is supported in the kernel as an isdn4linux device but I can't find "Modem" channel type when i type in: core show channeltypes. Isdn4Linux and DTMF
Hello all, I currently have an Eicon Diva Client isdn card using i4l. Outbound dtmf doesn't work (and never has), but there has been an annoying problem with false dtmf detection in calls (that could be triggered easily by blowing into the receiver on the remote end). I looked through the list and found two patches that need to be applied - 1 to isdn_tty.c in the kernel, and another to
