Up2date-Problems
Hi Folks, as recommended I have only updated up2date , up2date-gnome.# All other packages deselected. Run uptodate - okay. But now I have no channels in up2date - I can't update my system. Random files in homedir gets deleted
On one of my systems I seem to loose a file or two from time to time. Last night, one of my files (/home/online/sh/NattjobbPrivat.sh) was deleted/removed/vanished. Another time it was /home/online/sh/daemon that was deleted. But I can't seem to find anything strange in the logs or in the history, nor would any of my scripts running in crontab mess with those files. Where can I look for

Fixed effects: I don't know if I can simply specify anova(model) and trust the table that comes up with the p value for each variable in the fixed effects formula. [PATCH] vsock/virtio: fix sock refcnt holding during the shutdown
The "42f5cda5eaf4" commit rightly set SOCK_DONE on peer shutdown, but there is an issue if we receive the SHUTDOWN(RDWR) while the virtio_transport_close_timeout() is scheduled. In this case, when the timeout fires, the SOCK_DONE is already set and the virtio_transport_close_timeout() will not call virtio_transport_reset() and virtio_transport_do_close(). Backlights controlled by i915.ko and only associated with its connectors and also only associated with the intel_drmfb fbcon, controlled by i915.ko. In this situation, we already handle adjusting the backlight when the fbcon is blanked/unblanked and do not require backlight trying to do the same. Samba and ufw (mmcg29440@frontier.com)
Rowland, Thank you for all your help, I agree that this is not a Samba issue. Given rhat it works without the firewall. It' either a ufw or Windows 8.1 issue. Louis, Applied the rules you suggested to ufw exactly as written. No change. Still cannot connect with firewall enabled. Same error mesage as before "Cannot mount location ...". ufw log set to medium and copied below.
