So I compiled the icecast-2.4.4.tar.gz contents with ./configure --with-curl --with-openssl; make; make install I always get the error: [2020-02-05 17:35:36] INFO connection/get_ssl_certificate

IRC spam
I'll comment from the perspective of someone that is in the Mesa, #dri-devel, #radeon channels myself and have watched their behaviour over the years. This is a real person that spams a load of information into a channel about their understanding of how hardware works. I have no idea what their goal is for spamming this information, could be some desire for acceptance from perceived smartness.

Support 56kHz to 19.2kHz gain analysis (Patch v3)
Sorry about the duplicate posts from Earl Chew. He's resent because the first v3 patch got caught in the moderation queue, and I didn't notice when I released the messages. Not his fault. :-) -r

Problem adding user to Administrator list
Hi, all, We are using Samba 3.0.10 with an LDAP backend. It's been working fine for a long time. One strange thing that has come up today : I cannot add 1 specific domain user to the local Administrator group of Windows servers that are also in the domain. Adding the user to the admin group on a workstation works just fine. Adding other users to the admin group on the Windows servers

It is described in the following section which we found at http://open4all.info/ossa/_Icecast_Streaming_Server. # What happens is that when a listeners connects to your server and # requests the /laika stream, then your icecast server will connect # as a client to my machine, and then feed my stream to

Winbind & adding users... is `useradd` being called? %u parameter?
Hi there, This is probably a dumb question, so my apologies, but I've set up WinBind on my my Samba box & it seems to be authenticating against the domain, however new user accounts do not seem to be added. `wbinfo -u` returns a list of the users on the domain and I seem to have setup my IMAP server correctly to authenticate against that (using PAM), as I see the following in

CD Baby using FLAC to archive 40,000 CDs
Hey FLAC gang - Just thought you'd like to know CD Baby has switched to FLAC for archiving the 40,000 CDs we have in stock. Luckily HD space is down below $1/gig so we got a 6-terabyte RAID-5 box set up for about $7000. Got the FreeBSD boxes churning away night and day, ripping and archiving. I'll do a more formal press release for ya in a couple months as we're further along, but

command-line flac tool to report song length?
I've got a bunch of flac files and need to report their length. With MP3s, you use `mp3info -x $filename` But is there a way to find out the length (minutes:seconds or just seconds) of a flac audio file, without converting it to WAV first?
