select rows from data based on a vector of char strings
Hi,
I have loaded a dataset in R :
data =
label freq1 freq2
news 54 35
fun 37 21
milk 19 7
food 3 3
.... etc
And I have a vector
flist<-c("fun","food")
Now I want to use the vector 'flist' for selecting these values from 'data'
so that I get the following dataset :
label freq1 freq2
fun 37 21
food

FXO registration and VegaStream
I am trying to configure a VegaStream 50 FXO to work with asterisk. The
problem that I am having is that the VegaStream does not support incoming
registration from asterisk. VegaStream only allows outbound registration.
My question is does asterisk allow incoming registration from an FXO? If yes
how? Or better yet, has anybody been able to make the VegaStream FXO work
with asterisk? According

Nightingale’s Rose chart-any suggestion?
Hello, Everyone.
Does anyone know how to create a Nightingale’s Rose chart by using R?
Hopefully, the graph could be displayed like this:

Thanks a lot.

FW: how to use by() ?
Thank you for the suggestion, Bill. The result is not quite what I would like. Here's sample code for you or anyone else who may be interested:
Al1 = c('A','C','C','C')
Al2 = c('G','G','G','T')
Freq1 = c(0.0078,0.0567,0.9434,0.9908)
MAF = c(0.0078,0.0567,0.0566,0.0092)
m1 = data.frame(Al1=Al1,

how to use by() ?
Hello, All!
How might one accomplish this using the by() function?
m1 is a data frame.
# populate column "m1$major_allele"
for ( i in 1:length(m1$major_allele)) {
if ( m1$Freq1[i] == m1$MAF[i]){
m1$major_allele[i] = m1$Al1[i]
}
else{
m1$major_allele[i] = m1$Al2[i]
}
}

read in data, maintain decimal places
Good day, All,
Is there any way to maintain the number of decimal places in the type of situation below?
I would like to maintain the number of decimal places in 0.667, despite the fact that its column-mates have a fourth decimal place.
Thank you for your time.

Calculate weighted proportions for several factors at once
Hi,
I have a grouped data set and would like to calculate weighted proportions for a large number of factor variables within each group member. Rather than using dplyr::count() on each of these factors individually, the idea would be to do it for all factors at once. Does anyone know how this would work? Here is a reproducible example:

[RFC PATCH v1] Decode(float) optimize using libNe10
Hello All,
I extended the libNE10 optimizations for float towards
mdct_backwards/opus_ifft.
I am able to get about 14.26% improvement for Decode use
case now on my Beaglebone Black. Please see [1] for measurements.
Questions
1. Since this patch needs to go in after Encode [2] patch)
should I submit this as patch series?
2. Since Jonathan Lennox posted intrinsics cleanup [3]
patch, should

Initial Chirp while dialing
I was wondering if anyone has had a problem with an initial chirp from
asterisk after dialing an outside line through a TDM400? I am using 3
polycom 500's and it happens regardless of what phone I am at. So I was
thinking maybe it was an issue with asterisk or the uLaw codec?
Thanks.

columns showing spell,loc,count. Below the data.frame...
Any help appreciated

two y-axis in xy-plot
Hi there,
I am wondering if it is possible to do an xyplot with two y-axes. I'd like to print two parameters in a time series but they both have different scales.
Which parameter in xyplot can I add to achieve this result?
Thanks a lot for any help.

Voicetronix Audio Problems when making two or more simultanoues calls
Hi there,
Besides the problem of Voicetronix dialing too early before the carrier gives a dial tone, there also appears to be issues with the audio quality when more than 1 channel is utilized.

For histogram function, can we get the table of bin and frequency like in excel, together with the histogram?
Therefore, we can check the number of data included.
Thank you so much for your attention and help.
