Caller-ID name lookup via anywho.com
Hey all,
Did I see something on here about using an AGI script to do reverse
lookups via anywho.com? I have a PRI that only gets caller-id number and
no Alpha.
TIA,

AGI.pm?
I've seen references to this module in the mailing list archives, but it
isn't in the 0.4.0 tarball, nor is it in CVS. I can roll my own and was
planning to do so anyhow, but that doesn't seem to make a lot of sense
if it already exists. Am I not looking somewhere I should be looking? Most
of the Google hits just point to the mailing list.

WTLIB99 with wine-010510 tar ball broken again
Hi:
Remember that I somewhat enthusiastically wrote that a VB3 program
called "Watchtower Library 1999" now works with wine-010508?
Well, [un]fortunately it is broken with again with the
wine-010510 tar ball. (Thank you, Kin Lau for pointing this out to
me by e-mail.)
Description:
The main program window of WTLIB99 is just a small bar with buttons
and a menu on top of the buttons.

Getting info about changes in CVS
There are several ways to know what changes in Asterisk's CVS.
This URL http://asterisk.gnuinter.net/files/changelogs/ contains fairly
up to date CVS changelog summary information.

chan_agent MOH was (Re: CVS Error 2003-06-19)
Yea, I have faked that with a silent mp3,
but to do it right it should also be a config flag in the agent.conf file
for each agent, prolly add another arg to each agent definition
for the MOH class, & the arg 'none' means don't play music for that agent

CallerID name lookup AGI script
Hi all,
My VoIP provider (race.com) doesn't send name info with CallerID, so I wrote
an AGI script that does the following:
1) If it's a toll free number (800|888|877|866), set the CallerID name to
"TollFree Caller"
2) Use curl to look up the number in Google phonebook
3) If a business listing, set the CallerID name to business name, as is.
4) If it's a residential

Problem of set up asterisk-1.0-RC2.tar.gz with asterisk-prepaid-0.3.1
Hi Hekuran
I have installed asterisk-1.0-RC2.tar.gz, asterisk-prepaid-0.3.1 and
postgresql. When I tried to call from any IAX client to another IAX client
and also sip client to sip client it worked fine. And also the cdr table
filled properly.
Now I tried to configure asterisk-prepaid-0.3.1 with asterisk. I have
compiled asterisk-prepaid-0.3.1 and also copy the configure file.

voicepulse "silence" during conversations
Hi all, I'm running Asterisk 1.0.0. I am a customer ( and supporter )
of voicepulse. For me, it works perfectly, but one of my customers
noticed a small problem: During a conversation, when the otherside
isn't talking, it's almost like the mic turns off.
Not that big of a deal I know, and the more I think about it, the more
this seems a voicepulse issue. But in the off

tdm410p w/ echo - no full duplex
hi, i just installed 2 new tdm410p's on asterisk 1.4.19 with zaptel
1.4.10. They have the hardware echo cancellers. I am having an issue
though, when i talk, it cuts out the other end. So for example, i
called up another asterisk box and was listening to the prompts and as
they were playing if i said something, it would cut out the other end.
so i basically started counting and for the

OT Astricon/Digium Beach Ball Mailing
Just an FYI for Digium. I received a mailing today from you guys
which was nice. The price of mailing was ~$1.60 and inside was an
inflatable beach ball.
Cool, but I tried to blow up the beach ball and the the seam where the
part opens to inflate the ball was not connected to the ball
whatsoever, so it went right in the trash.
I wonder if the sick heat had anything to do with it, was mine just

"Spinning ball" in Rgui in Windows but not in OS X
R 3.0.2
OS X, Windows 7
Colleagues
This is my first submission to this bulletin board so forgive me if I miss some etiquette issue.
I am running some C code in Rgui in both OS X and Windows. It takes ~ 10 seconds for the code to execute.
In OS X, the GUI is silent during this period.
In Windows, a spinning wheel appears and the GUi grays out, then recovers.
Is it possible to suppress the

AGI - Freakin Lost
Ok,
I have spent that past 4 - 5hrs working (trying to) figure some AGI
syntax out in perl. Maybe I'm Looney / slow or what I don't know, but I
am lost. I need to figure out how to send STDIN into the script. I
understand the concept of it, but lost when it comes down to it. No
matter what I try with standard <stdin> The app completes on me before I
can ever enter in keys. I
