struggling with Diva 4BRI and chan_capi
Hi,
I am trying to configure a Diva Server 4BRI to work with chan_capi. Here
are the steps that I took:
- compiled fresh kernel with new-style CAPI support: i4l_divas_1.2
- got the divactrl_1.2 utilities, configured the card startup scripts,
- rebooted, card firmware loaded properly, "capiinfo" displays detailed
info on 4 controllers, however there is an error message:

I am using chan_capi 0.3.5 and Asterisk CVS-v1-0-12/29/04-15:32:48 on a SuSE

In the system is a AVM C4 with one port connected to PSTN at PTP BRI and
another one to an ISDN PBX with an PMP BRI.
The system is running fine, but I have regualary this error, and then

chan_capi with avm c2 only uses one BRI
hi all
it seems like whatever I do, I can't use more than 1 BRI on my AVM C2 with
chan_capi. Both channels seem to work, but not at the same time. And - yes -
they're connected to different NT boxes :)
Any ideas? kapejod?

chan_capi syntax
Hi,
What is the correct chan_capi dial syntax??
This is what I think it is..
exten => _90.,1,Dial(CAPI/[msn here]:${EXTEN:1})
This seems to work for local numbers.. but I have an access number for cheap long distance calls.. wich gets dialed and then the number I want to call is sent as DTMF after a few waits (w)..
On my X100P I used the following..
exten => _9001.,1,Dial(Zap/1/[access

Where are chan_capi bug reports and bugfixes sent?
Hello all
I found a bug in the chan_capi driver (really a not implemented message
handling and then a false error condition) and I guess I have wrote a
patch to fix it (basically I searched the internet for other capi open
source implementation an borrowed the code snippet) but I don't know
where to send the report and bugfix.
I also found some miss-behaviours that I would like to share

micky mouse sound with chan_capi solved?
hi all
talking to this friend if mine just now, I realised I had no 'micky mouse'
sound as eaerlier with chan_capi and AVM C2. We talked in 1 hour and 18
minutes without encountering any problems whatsoever. This was him calling
me, but I don't know if that's important.

Chan_Capi questions??
I have been using chan_capi and a Fritz AVM (passive) card for a little while now.. So far so good.. There are still a couple of things I am not totally sure about..
First..
What is the difference between "softdtmf=0" and "softdtmf=1"??
Which is the preffered/recommended option??
Second..
What is Early B3 all about??
Should I be using it in my dial string??
Which is the

Ok.. I have done some more digging and the problem seems to be caused by chan_capi not detecting that the call has been answered.. I downgraded chan_capi from 0.2.3b to 0.2.2 and the system is working fine..
Kapjod, do you know of this problem?
Later..

chan_capi compile problem
Hi all,
I?m using * with a Suse 8.1 (kernel 2.4.19-4GB). My hardware are a Eicon
Diva 2.01 PCI and a Eicon Diva Server 4BRI; I have installed the drivers
wich came with the distribution using the distro installer (yast2). I?m
experiencing problems with outgoing calls so I?ll try with chan_capi instead
of chan_modem.
The point is that I?m having problems with the compilation:

I try to compile the latest chan_capi, but it won't work. I also tried
the patch that is arround there from frank sautter and I have

chan_capi won't compile
I am trying to compile chan_capi 3.3.4a, but I end up with lots of
gibberish. Near the top it states that capi20.h doesn't exist. Searching
for the file, several show up:

Failing to compile chan_capi
I've got a brand new Eicon Diva Server BRI card and I want to configure
it with Asterisk. I managed to get asterisk and zaptel to compile and
install, I've compiled and installed the drivers for the Diva card and
now I need to compile and install the chan_driver for chan_capi.
Unfortunately this fails miserably. I get the following messages:

chan_capi on slackware10? cannot compile :-( why?
I'm trying to compile chan_capi-0.5.4 on Slackware 10, but I have bunch
of errors.
(By the way, can I use chan_capi for ISDN card with winbond w6692cf
chipset?)
I'm not a linux expert, still :-)
Before compiling, when I type "modprobe capi" to load capi module, and
then "lsmod", i get list of modules:
