Centos/Fedora core won't talk to an Epson Workforce 600 printer
Hello! Has anyone had any luck getting CUPS to talk to an Epson Workforce 600 printer? I got pipslite and eklite.ppd extracted (and modified it to use Letter instead of A4) but I can't seem to get CUPS to talk succesfully with the printer. The printer configuration under Gnome widget does show that CUPS detected something (pipslite:...) but when I try to use it I get a wrapper error.

R-alpha: Two buglets and a difference
I have come across three problems in the past few days, in spell of heavy R ( version R0.50-a4/Sun Solaris2.5.1 ) use. 1. I was using lwd=2 to get thicker lines on plots for printing, but although the 'lwd' parameter works fine with x11(), the thickened lines do not print with print.plot, or by using postscript() directly. 2. Try the following, plot(1:10, -(1:10))

Step-by-Step Tutorial: How to Setup Your Own e-Commerce Online Store using WooCommerce 3.4.5, Wordpress 4.9.8, and CentOS 1805 (LAMP) in Amazon AWS Cloud
Hi Jonathan, Configuring SELinux is somewhat complicated, so I would usually set SELinux mode to permissive. ________________________________ From: CentOS <centos-bounces at centos.org> on behalf of Jonathan Billings <billings at negate.org> Sent: Saturday, September 29, 2018 7:48 PM To: CentOS mailing list Subject: Re: [CentOS] Step-by-Step Tutorial: How to Setup Your Own

[OT] Apache oddity - appending garbage request does not result in a 404
HI, I know this is OT and I apologize in advance, but with the wealth of knowledge on this list I hope that some kind soul will help (off list is fine). I run CentOS 5.6 with the usual LAMP stack. One of the virtual sites on this server failed a PCI Compliance (credit card security stuff) because, of all things, a URL with a non-existent request after the .php doesn't return a 404 and

Message lamp integration with legacy pbx -- revisited
I see from the archives that Siggi Langauf was wanting to do exactly what I want to do back in November 2003. Here is what he asked: I would like to do a pilot with some legacy gear, however. Accordingly, I'd like to be able to have * dial 1000X where X is the box that has a new voicemail message and 1001X when the user of mb X deletes the new message(s). The dialing should occur

7960 + 7914 Problems
I'm still having problems getting this to work. I cannot get anything to display on my 7914 other than blank lines. I have SIP/5920-5930 in [main] that I'd like to add to the 7914 and indicate hook status. The 7960 is registering okay as SCCP/5000. What exactly should my sccp.conf file look like? When I make changes to this, how do I enact them? Do I reload Asterisk and reboot the phone

SNOM Subscribe/Notify
I'm using a SNOM 360 with Ver 4.3 software. Asterisk is.... Asterisk CVS-D2005.05.02.22.00.00-05/04/05 (BRI Stuff + Head) I've used the wiki info to set up some lines to monitor some internal extensions. When the extension is rung - the lamp comes on, when the call is answered, the lamp goes off.. I was expecting something a little more exciting - like the lamp to flash when the

Insert Variables into
Hello, I wrote a small application for a temporary employment company so that they can insert the timestamps and also note the companies for which their employees are currently working. Because it is a web app the application is usable from the field and also from the office locations. The contracts have been created by using a very old and unmaintained software that allowed them to fill a

OT: SIP hardphone with multi-color BLF
Hi, Is anyone aware of a SIP hardphone with Busy Lamp Fields supporting 2 colors (or more) ? This could be very useful to support extended presence, for instance. CentOS 6.4, LAMP, MariaDB
Hi, I am trying to install a LAMP stack using MariaDB on CentOS 6.4, 64 bit. I have installed MariaDB by using the MariaDB repository configuraton tool. I installed php by itself. Both MariaDB and php individually test fine. I know that php-mysql has to be installed to complete the LAMP stack installation. From lots of googling I understand that there is a php-mysql and a php-mysqlnd.

Asterisk hardware for new office suggestion
Hi list, I am in the process of setting up Asterisk for a new office and since this is going to be my first "real" installation I'd appreciate some advice on the hardware from the real world. We will have 8 channels (still not sure if 4xISDN2 or ISDN30 8 channels, but I will definitely go for a Digium card with echo hw cancelation) and a DSL 2mbit line (QoS on the switch and

How do I do this?
I have 2 asterisk servers - serverA and serverC - connected via IAX2. On serverA, I have a "telemarketer hold" extension which, if I transfer a caller into it, loops around playing music & "please wait" messages, until they give up & hang up the phone. Also on serverA, I have a custom devstate, which lights a lamp on a phone connected to serverA, which tells me if

Message lamp integration with legacy pbx during conversion
I posted this earlier on the development list. For those of you who watch both lists, please pardon the duplication. Currently, in our * lab we use all SIP phones so the MWI NOTIFY works perfect. I would like to do a pilot with some legacy gear, however. Accordingly, I'd like to be able to have * dial 1000X where X is the box that has a new voicemail message and 1001X when the user of mb X

NetBIOS name resolution from Linux
Hi all, I set up a Samba server (version 3.0.24) names "Lamp" on a Debian Etch distribution. It provides a "guest" (guest ok = yes, guest only = yes, security = SHARE) access to a "share" directory, which works fine. Indeed, I can access \\lamp\share from a Windows machine (named "Ginger") without issuing a password. I can also ping the Linux machine
