Asterisk Threads
Hi All,
I thought I'd place a plee for people to not reply to a thread when
starting a new subject. It really messes with the legibility of
following threads.
Obviously it's much easier to send a message that way, but please
try to keep threads apart.
Thanks,

Parked calls - can't pickup
I have a simple asterisk install (1.4.18), and want to use call parking. I
can successfully park a call (I see on the CLI that the call is parked to
701). Everything is pretty default.
However, I can't pickup a call from another phone. When I dial 701 from a
phone, asterisk can't find that extensions and notifies the person picking
up that the extension doesn't exist. (It appears

Still can't pickup parked call
I'm still struggling to pickup calls. I now have a single context
(entryocginternal) where I have "include => parkedcalls".
The log below shows me calling from one internal extension to another, then
picking up, then parking the call.

PBX Console
Hi,
I've been looking into the one bad thing about * which is there's no
practical solution to running a console. You know the kind where
you have rows of buttons each representing an extension. You press
the button of the extension you want to transfer the call to, and
it's done.
There's the beginnig of GUI version but it's going to eat resources
for running X which

Parked calls and the # key
I am perplexed by this so I how someone can help me out.
On one of my servers the users began complaining that if they picked up a
parked call they could not use the # key to transfer the call. This is a
particualarly annoying issue since everyone has been taught to use #700 to
park calls. At first I thought it was a DTMF issue with the polycom phones,
since rebooting seemed to fix the problem.

exited non-zero
I've been beating myself up over this script but clearly I'm missing
something. If I enter an extension like 101 it rings through fine,
but if I pick 2 for sales it hangs up with this message:
== Spawn extension (sales, s, 1) exited non-zero on `Zap/1-1'
Since I'm not sure what that exacly means I cannot take appropriate
action. Any help would be appreciated.

Call parking issue with Cisco SPA phone
I'm trying to implement call parking with asterisk and Cisco SPA504G phones:
features.conf
parkext => 700
parkpos => 701-702
context => parkedcalls
I defined one of the unused keys to park the calls:
Key2:
fnc=sd;ext=700 at 10.0.1.103;vid=1;nme=Park
I also defined two other keys to pickup/unpark the calls:
Key3:
fnc=blf+sd+cp;sub=701 at 10.0.1.103
Key4:

Parked calls with Asterisk 1.4.0
Hi List.
We have a small issue with making parked calls work with the new
Asterisk 1.4. I have an impression that this used to work with 1.2, so
its either I'm doing something wrong, or a regression. I hope its not
the latter and you can tell me what I'm doing wrong.
The setup is an Asterisk with sip users in mysql realtime and dialplan
in mysql static (mostly - some stuff is built-in).

Call park on Linksys 922 and similar phones?
I'm having an issue with call park on my new Linksys 922. It has
soft menu keys for doing call transfer (which I always think is a good
idea because it's amazing how every phone has a different xfer interface
and people always get confused).
However, I can't get a good call park working on it. It doesn't respond
to the use of "#" for transfer (nor should I want it to,

Flash Pane - Monitor Parked Calls?
Need help with how to configure for parked calls in the Flash Operator
Panel's op_buttons.cfg file ...
I've looked on the wiki, google and asternic's site and can't seem to find
how to setup op_buttons.cfg to monitor parked calls.
For example, if someone parks in 701, I'd like to see that represented on
the panel.
I've tried a number of things ... this is what I have now

Parked Call Ringback
Hello,
I have enabled call parking and it works great.
However, when the "hold time" hits the "parkingtime", the extension that
parked the call is called back.
The problem is, if that extension does not pickup the returning call, the
call gets dropped.
Is it possible to get Asterisk to automatically park the call again if the
callback isn't answered?

Parked Calls in 1.4.23.1
I know the call parking feature changed in 1.4.23.1 to fix some serious
issues. I'm seeing a major change though which I find disturbing.
A person parks a call by transferring it to the parking position (700).
When the timeout value is reached, the call is NOT returned to that
device, but rather the 's' extension of the phone's registered context
(in this case [unrestricted]).

cisco phone and parked calls
So, I can't figure out how to get the parkandannounce application to
work the way I want it to... I have cisco 7960 IP phones using SIP,
and this is what I have in my extensions.conf:
exten => 700,1,ParkAndAnnounce(pbx-transfer:PARKED|90|SIP/${EXTEN:1}|internal,${EXTEN:1},1)
exten => 700,2,Hangup
and in my parking.conf:

res parking patch
Ok, a little patch that adds a little functionality to call parking.
With that, you can pickup the older parked call, if many are in the
parking lot. The default exten to do that is 750, but can be changed
by setting "parkpick => exten" on parking.conf , like
[general]
parkext => 800 ; What ext. to dial to park
parkpos => 801-820 ; What extensions to
