vmail.cgi cannot read/delete messages
vmail.cgi rocks (if I can borrow the expression for Mark Street). As Mark pointed out, the /vm/INBOX messages are created with 0700 security and vmail.cgi is not happy. Apache/cgi/vmail.cgi cannot play them unless I fool around with the Apache wrapper or chmod 755 *.* thefiles myself. (Tedious, that is why I like computers). Obviously this is not acceptable. cgi-bin/vmail.cgi - - Invalid Context
Greetings: I have been playing around with vmail.cgi and am able to log into and listen to my message with no problem. I added the correct context to vmail.cgi so I don't have to enter the mailbox + context. However, when I try and delete a message or move to a different mailbox I get the following: Code: Software error: Invalid Context<BR> Running * v1.0.8 Any help would be

vmail cgi script
Hi all, I'm in the process of building a * box for home and ran across the vmail.cgi script. It installs suid root in order to allow access to the voice mail boxes. I've never been fond of suid root and was looking for a better method. I've patched my installation to make everything in the vm hierarchy (/var/ spool/asterisk/voicemail/*) setgid www to match the group of my

web interface to vmail
Hi, I haven't been able to find it in the docs, but I believe I remember some people talking about a web interface to the asterisk voicemail application. Does this cool beast exist? And if so, where might I find some docs on it? Also, I noticed there was some talk about a gnome interface to asterisk, does that exist as well? If so, same question... Thanks in advance, and thank you to

Changing location of vmail folder, mail started downloading again
Dear Team, Due to some reasons I need to move vmail folder to another drive. I tried to do rsync & I was able to copy all the files and structure with same old date and time stamp. I made symbolic link and new mail flow was fine but problem is, all the mail boxes started downloading old mails again . Is there any way where I can copy location of the folder without this problem. Please
