PRI users, please read
For a long while, Asterisk administrators have had the desire to take PRI channels out of service and keep them that way, usually to create a window in which to perform maintenance or another such purpose. We are finally very close to having that functionality in Asterisk, but what we need is a few people who have PRI circuits to test out this functionality. Please, if you are an administrator

1.6.2.8: need sip reload to reach peers.
Running 1.6.2.8 and using teliax and junction for sip providers. We also have an internal sip network for extensions. On boot both providers are shown as unspecified and UNKNOWN. The internal sip extensions are found. sip reload always finds the providers. Why doesn't asterisk find the providers when it starts up? And if it doesn't find them, how long before it tries again? sean

testing my asterisk 1.6.2.8-rc1 with gtalk (and JACK) - please help
Hello everyone! I'm just trying to set up my new asterisk (version 1.6.2.8-rc1). I'd be very grateful, if someone could help me here. I'd be very glad, if one of you could test googletalk with me. Last time I tried (in 1.6.0.x times) it wouldn't work in the end. But here are my gtalk and jabber.conf files. Could you please take a look and tell me, if the settings same sane?
