Asterisk 1.4.6 Fedora 7 configure error
Hi guys I'm at a loss in getting ./configure to complete successfully with asterisk 1.4.6 on Fedora 7 x86_64, as it complains about no termcap support, even though it is installed (see below). Any ideas where to go next? checking for ZT_DIAL_OP_CANCEL in zaptel/zaptel.h... no configure: error: *** termcap support not found [root at mail3 asterisk-1.4.6]# rpm -qv termcap

Asterisk and Fedora Core 3
Hi guys I'm new to this list and I imagine this question has been asked before, so feel free to point me to the correct references. My question is, how do you install asterisk on Fedora Core 3, with all rpm updates, seeing as there is no kernel-source rpm anymore? Thanks for any advice. -- _/_/_/_/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/_/_/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/

Problem after upgrading from 1.2.21.1 to 1.2.22
Yesterday I upgraded from asterisk 1.2.21.1 to 1.2.22. We are running Zaptel-1.2.17.1. After upgrading all of our calls from the phone company (DIDs trunks with wink start on a channelized T1) were not coming in. Looking in the log file '/var/log/messages'. I saw the following error message. pbx.c: Cannot find extension '' in context '(null)' This was confusing since I

Asterisk and Welltech USB SIP phone K1000A
Hi all I'm fairly new to Asterisk, so be nice :-) I was wondering if anyone has been able to get the Welltech K1000A USB phone working on Linux. I see audio and HID drivers loaded when it is plugged in to my Fedora Core 1 laptop, but that's about all that happens. I've searched all the usual places (FAQ, Google, etc) but not found anything helpful. Asterisk is working fine with

SIP phone receiving but not transmitting
Hi I've been using Asterisk for a while now with the TDM400 and it seems to be working fine. I'm using version 1.2.2 and I've struck a problem when I added a Budge Tone 100 SIP phone to the network. The phone rings when calls come in and I can make calls but in all cases (internal or external calls) the other party cannot hear me even though I can hear them. I'm sure I've

how to prevent res_odbc from loading
I am trying to resolve a problem where grandstream phones (only) fail to register after a period of time. I have a mysql realtime setup that appears to work, but fails for no reason. before i classify the realtime system as unusable, I am trying to isolate the problem. One thing I have noticed is the odbc driver continues to load even though I have removed (from what I can tell) references to

Editing the variables attributes section in the netCDF header of netCDF files created using the package ncdf.
Hi, I am using the package ncdf to create netCDF files and I want to mimic the the header of an exiting netCDF file created outside of R. Below is what the existing header looks like (part of it that is different): netcdf ccd1984_05_08 { dimensions: lat = 1974 ; lon = 1894 ; time = UNLIMITED ; // (1 currently) variables: int time(time) ;

CentOS 8 updates
Hi Is it my imagination/impatience, but I don't seem to have received any updates to CentOS 8 recently. I'm thinking particularly of firefox which was updated in CentOS 7 for a critical security update. Is there a backlog of CentOS 8 updates behind the 8.2 release? I noticed on a few occasions that my local mirroring had picked up and later deleted a lot of "tmp" files for

Timestamp problem
Hello, Please forgive this message if it has already been discussed, but I could not find the answer to my question in the archives or any documentation, so I joined this list. I'm running Samba 2.0.3 on Red Hat Linux 5.2 with all update RPMS installed and Kernel 2.2.2. I have compiled Samba and the Kernel from their respective source tarballs. I used the --with-smbmount switch with

[LLVMdev] Proposal: pragma for branch divergence
*Hi, I am considering a language extension to Clang for optimizing GPU programs. This extension will allow the compiler to use different optimization strategies for divergent and non-divergent branches (to be explained below). We have observed significant performance gain by leveraging this proposed extension, so I want to discuss it here to see how the community likes/dislikes the idea. I will
