Xapian 1.2.19 released
I'm happy to be able to announce the release of Xapian 1.2.19, which
you can download from:
http://xapian.org/download
Since 1.2.16, release tarballs are compressed with xz instead of gzip,
as it provides much better compression, without being too slow to
decompress. (For now at least, Search::Xapian is still gzipped.)
We decided not to provide multiple formats for the downloads. The size

The 1.2.x release series was retired about 6 months ago, and 1.2.8 is
far from being the latest version even in that retired release series
(it's more than 6 years old).

versions 1.2.18 and 1.4.4. These releases are maintenance releases that
fix various known issues. See the ChangeLog included in the releases

extra-sounds 1.4.5 timestapmed newer than 1.4.6 ???
Hello All , I'd usually just take the latest timestamped tarballs & use
them , But this has gotten me a tad setback .
I want to build astersik-1.4.1 & I am not sure which of these is going
to work correctly . Anyone else have a better idea than me ?
