The Asterisk.org development team has released Asterisk-addons version
1.4.1.
This release contains a large number of fixes, including:
- Fix some memory leaks in res_config_mysql
- Fix various issues in the OOH323 channel driver
- Module updates to be compatible with the latest version of Asterisk 1.4.

Problems compiling res_config_mysql (asterisk addons)
Hello All:
I'm having some difficutly getting res_config_mysql from the 1.4.1 addons
package to compile ( I need it for Realtime)
First of all, when I make everything appears to compile ok with no errors
however the res_config_mysql doesn't get compiled. So I tried "make
res_config_mysql" and a whackload of errors starting with the following:
# make res_config_mysql
gcc -g

Asterisk hangs up - h323
This is third time today that my Asterisk hangs up. It seams that I have problems with h323. I'm using ooh323 from Asterisk add-ons. I have the following configuration
Asterisk 1.2.1
Asterisk-addons 1.2.1
Fedora Core 4
I'm using SIP phones and
h323 trunk to my VoIP provider
Like I said this is third time today that he hang's up. First time, I came at work and Asterisk was down.

Slackware + Asterisk + asterisk-addons
Hello
I am trying to get asterisk-addons installed so that I can use the mysql
cdr feature. OK, I have the MySQL server (mysqld) installed, but I
noticed that mysql-devel is also required. I tried to compile
asterisk-addons and got a:

Hi,
Trying to compile asterisk-addons 1.2.5 on Centos 4.4 produces this:
Note: MySQL libraries are installed and the structure is as follows:
/usr/src/astsources/asterisk-1.2.13
/usr/src/astsources/asterisk-addons-1.2.5
in /usr/src/astsources/asterisk-addons-1.2.5 I do:
make clean
make
and the output is:
./mkdep -fPIC -I../asterisk -D_GNU_SOURCE -I/usr/include/mysql `ls *.c`

compiling asterisk-addons for Mysql-cdr

asterisk-ooh323, asterisk 1.2.6 and netmeeting
has anyone managed to get these three beasties to work together ? we're
using ooh323 from asterisk-addons-1.2.2, asterisk 1.2.6 and microsoft
netmeeting default from windows xp.
the symptoms are that calls from a SIP client to NetMeeting rings on
NetMeeting, but upon answering the call in NetMeeting, no audio is passed
between the two. eventually, the call times out and hangs up.

Unable to start Asterisk 1.2.5 with Asterisk-Addons 1.2.1
Hi all,
I installed the Asterisk 1.2.5 and asterisk-addons 1.2.1 of a new Red Hat
linux box( Linux version 2.4.20-8smp). I was able to compile both the
software but when i start Asterisk, it exits with the following dump.

Asterisk-Addons install success-Could not find ooh323.conf
Hi all,
I have installed Asterisk-addons-1.4.5. I was getting error
cp: cannot stat `.libs/libchan_h323.so.1.0.1': No such file or directory
So, I did following steps:
cp asterisk-ooh323c/.libs/libchan_h323.1.0.1 asterisk-ooh323c/.libs/libchan_h323.so.1.0.1
make install
make samples
It worked properly.But still I am not getting ooh323.conf in /etc/asterisk
Please help me.

asterisk, asterisk-addons, ooh323, codec negotiation patch in FreeBSD
Hi,
Sorry for cross posting.
I'm trying to use asterisk+ooh323 in FreeBSD 7.0-PRERELEASE.
It seems like asterisk-addons is marked as broken in FreeBSD-7.0.
Can somebody tell me the reason why it is broken if somebody knows?
And also can I try newer versions of it? Basically I need ooh323 with codec
negotiation patch.
Any idea, experience is greatly appreciated.

asterisk-addons 1.6.0 "Command 'realtime mysql status' failed"?
Thought I'd post this, see if anyone has experienced this...I am using
Asterisk 1.6 from the SVN branch and Asterisk-addons 1.6 from the SVN
branch. Mysql is running and I've connected using the information that
is in res_mysql.conf but when I try to check the realtime status I get
the following:
Connected to Asterisk SVN-branch-1.6.0-r117183 currently running on
ubuntu (pid = 31371)
