Asterisk 1.2.12.1 and Zaptel 1.2.9.1 Released
Earlier this week 'refresh' releases of these two projects were put on
our FTP servers, but due to some miscommunication on our end no
announcements were sent out... so here they are :-)
Asterisk 1.2.12.1 fixes one significant bug that was introduced after
1.2.10 but which hadn't been corrected yet when 1.2.12 was released

Digium through Octasic
We're looking at using 4 or 8 port T1 cards with echo cancellation and are evaluating brands to go with. We know that Sangoma has excellent solutions especially when it comes to echo. But we still have to hear about actual performance of a Digium card using the same Octasic DSP echo canceller.
Would appreciate hearing something on this.

TE212P octastic initialization failure
Hi,
I'm trying to get a TE212 working on a Dell PowerEdge 1850 running
Debian etch using the latest release of libpri (1.4.0), zaptel (1.4.2.1)
and asterisk (1.4.4). The initilization of the Octasic echo canceller
seems to fail when the wct4xxp module is loaded.

Speex 1.2rc1 is out, status update
Hi everyone,
I've just released Speex 1.2rc1. This adds support for acoustic echo
cancellation with multiple microphones and multiple loudspeakers. It
also adds an API to decorrelate loudspeaker signals to improve
multi-channel performance. In the bugfix department, there are fixes for
a few bugs in the echo canceller, jitter buffer and preprocessor. At
this point, the API for 1.2 should be

Problems and questions with setting up a Feature Group D trunk to a Nortel DMS-10 switch
I currrently have Asterisk 1.2.8 with a TE110P Zaptel card tied to our Nortal DMS-10 switch via T1.
This T1 trunk is configured for Feature Group D MF.
The purpose of this is for LD delivery to a VoIP LD provider as a LD choice for our customers off of the DMS-10.
When I sieze a channel on the zaptel, I get a spill of digits from the switch that is the called number, and I can see that in

[LLVMdev] Undoing DAG Combiner patterns
Hi all,
It's the first LLVM backend we do for our asynchronous DSP. So, I apologize if this is a trivial question!
The target-independent DAG combiner performs the following transformation:
sub n, c -> add n, -c
For our target, negative constants are more costly to encode. What is the best place to revert to a sub instruction?
Kind regards,
