Asterisk 1.2.3 Released - Critical Update
Asterisk 1.2.3 has been released and contains a number of bug fixes. One of the fixes is for a critical bug introduced in version 1.2.2 that will cause an Asterisk server to stop processing calls correctly when the server's clock reaches January 25th, 2006 (today). It is vital to upgrade all 1.2.2 servers with this release as soon as possible. Thank you for your support for Asterisk!

Lockups since upgrade 1.2.3 - anyone else? Any ideas?
Boy oh boy. This blows. I upgraded to 1.2.2 from 1.0.9, and of course had the timebomb bug. Immediately after upgrading to 1.2.3 we were ok, for 24 hours or so. Since upgrading to 1.2.3, though, the whole system has locked up twice. Once on Thursday, and then about a half hour ago. The server would reply to a ping, but no ssh login, no local console login - just locked up. This ain't good for

Sound card problem in acoustic echo
Hi Underwood, Thank you for your help. I agree with your opinion. But it is almost impossible to further reduce the frequent difference between play and capture. 1. I used a 2^18 step FFT to analyse the echo frequency. So the freq resolution is 8000HZ/(2^17)=0.0625Hz. The analyser need at least 2^18/8000=32 seconds acoustic echo record signal from the microphone. Better freq resolution relies

RE: [Asterisk-Announce] Asterisk 1.2.4 and Zaptel 1.2.3
Does anyone know what date this memory leak was introduced and/or how to check source code for it? I am running a pre-1.2 CVS head version and would like to know if the potential problem exists. > -----Original Message----- > From: asterisk-announce-bounces@lists.digium.com [mailto:asterisk- > announce-bounces@lists.digium.com] On Behalf Of The Asterisk Development > Team > Sent:
