Good point.

Thus, I propose that if this ends up being per-instruction property,
its semantics would include this restriction.

Ubuntu 9.x segmentation fault with vpopmail auth
I've been trying for 24 hours now, to get an IMAP server which will
autenticate off of vpopmail cdb database and the auth module always
segfaults on login.
I'm using vpopmail 5.5.0 only because it is the only version which seems
to create a dynamically linked version of the library.
I tried latest releases dovecot 1.0, 1.1, and 1.2. Also latest mercurial
pulls of 1.1 and 1.2.

Jackknife in Logistic Regression
Dear R friends
I´m interested into apply a Jackknife analysis to in order to quantify the
uncertainty of my coefficients estimated by the logistic regression. I´m
using a glm(family=’binomial’) because my independent variable is in 0 - 1
format.
My dataset has 76000 obs, and I´m using 7 independent variables plus an
offset. The idea involves to split the data in let’s say 5 random subsets

1. How do I construct 95% prediction interval for new x values, for example - x = 30000?
2. How do I construct 95% confidence interval?

PCA legend outside of PCA plot
Hi All,
I have been trying to get to plot my PCA legend outside of the PCA plot,
but success still alludes me.
Can you guys please advise how I can achieve this. I used locater() to
obtain coordinates for below the Comp.1 axis. Using these coordinates the
legend disappears.
Below is the code for the PCA and legend.
Thanks in advance for the help.

Tinus

Yeah. This is the separate (old) discussion and not strictly related to
the problem at hand. Better if-conversion benefits more than OpenCL C

A Gamma-GLM with log link
Hi,
I have a set of data (total number of record = 144,122), and I would like to
use gamma-glm with log link to set up a model.
IC is number of records
IL is paid amount
The table below shows that I have
30.578% of the data in the level of "1 - 1000" paid amount
20.320% of the data in the level of "1001 - 2000" paid amount
and so on
My question is could i use the whole data

Hi
I'm getting segmentation fault in Dovecot 2.2.11. This happens when
trying to do a user lookup by "doveadm user". The machine is running Arch

writing a dovecot plugin / segfault
Hi together,
I am new to this list and new to dovecot itself. I have to write a plugin that implements some ACL-voodoo to be used instead of the standard ACL stuff of dovecot (it shall allow just application-driven folder-sharing - no more, no less).
Though I started programming with C, my last experiences are some days old, but now I have written the function sekeletons and the registration

Experiment on how to improve our temporary file handing.
Currently a power failure or other hard crash can cause lld leave a temporary
file around. The same is true for other llvm tools.
As an example, put a breakpoint in Writer.cpp:236 ("writeBuildId()") and
restart the run a few times. You will get
t.tmp43a735a t.tmp4deeabb t.tmp9bacdd3 t.tmpe4115c4 t.tmpeb01fff
The same would happen if there was a fatal error between the

Package MuMIn (dredge): Error in ret[, ] <- cbind(x, se, rep(if (is.null(df)) NA_real_ else df, : number of items to replace is not a multiple of replacement length.
Hello R community,
I am attempting to run multiple logistic regressions (multinomial, via
package 'nnet'), with Automated Model Selection (dredge, package 'MuMIn').
The aim is to reduce the number of predictor variables by assessing relative
performance of each variable, which can be done in a coarse fashion using
the Automated Model Selection option in package 'MuMIn'
