[PATCH] Enable new-style -chardev ... guestfwd command line
This also changes the name of the "vmchannel" buffer to just "buf",
reflecting the fact that it's just used as a temporary buffer, and
that the word vmchannel is overloaded.

[PATCH] Remove explicit guestfs=10.0.2.4:6666 kernel command line parameter.
This patch is in preparation for allowing libguestfs to use alternate
"vmchannel" implementations.
Although it's not a functional change, I think it is worthwhile on its
own because use of the term "vmchannel" in the names of constants is
inappropriate since (a) the "-net channel" option is now properly
known upstream as "guestfwd", and (b) no one can

[PATCH 0/3] RFC: Allow use of external QEMU process with libguestfs
This attempts to implement the idea proposed in
https://www.redhat.com/archives/libguestfs/2010-April/msg00087.html
The idea is that an externally managed QEMU (manual, or via libvirt)
can boot the appliance kernel/initrd. libguestfs can then be just told
of the UNIX domain socket associated with the guest daemon.
An example based on guestfish.
1. Step one, find the appliance kernel/initrd

request comes in, it failed in establishing a SSL connection with Keycloak
server on port 443, shown as following in debug logs. I can confirming

xen-unstable-9514 and CONFIG_IA32_EMULATION
Hi guys,
Maybe one of you quickly can tell me if the x86_64 kernel
configuration option CONFIG_IA32_EMULATION is supposed to work under
Xen?
I''ve used an ia32 root file system together with CONFIG_IA32_EMULATION
inside qemu-system-x86_64 for quite a while now (without xen). It
works pretty well.
However, when I try this with xen-unstable-9514 all I get is general
protection errors...

I'm pleased to announce a major new release of libguestfs.

disk images and virtual machines. You can use this for viewing and
editing files inside guests, scripting changes to VMs, monitoring disk
used/free statistics, P2V, V2V, performing partial backups, cloning
VMs, and much more.

wireless vpn + nat
Hey guys,
I installed tinc on a linux server which connects to the internet.
That server is linked via a wireless link with a Windows 2000
workstation. I installed tinc on the windows box too, and the vpn works
neat. The only problem is I don't know if the windows tap driver is able
to forward unknown IPs to a gateway. This is because if I try to ping
