OpenSSH 7.3p1 can't be build on Solaris 10
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA256
With this change built ok.
But patch must be quite different on my platform (see attached) for
portable version.
And, of course, after autoreconf run.

After ".configure" I get this:

[patch/Cygwin]: Simplify host key generation in ssh-host-config script
Hi,
as the subject says, the below patch just simplifies the host
key generation in the Cygwin-specific ssh-host-config script.
Rather than testing and generating each key, call ssh-keygen -A.
Could somebody with checkin rights please apply?
Thanks,
Corinna

program-prefix does not work
the configure option --program-prefix does not work although it is
listed in teh configure --help output.
The attached patch fixes these issues:
1) program prefix is not substituted in configure
2) program prefix is not present in Makefile
3) scp requires use of a known "scp" program

OpenSSH with slow login
Hi,
I have installed Openssh on a HP-UX 11.00 and I am having a problem. It
lasts 5 minutes to login, after I enter my login and password.
I try to connect from a Windows machine having a Tera Term SSH client to the
HP UX with the OpenSSH server ?
Why does it take so long time (5 minutes) to establish a connection from a
remote machine to this openssh server ?
When I do Telnet to the same

unexpected behaviour in OpenSSH_3.7.1
Hi,
we have installed OpenSSH_3.7.1 in /usr/local. In our environment all
machines mount /usr/local via NFS and automounter from a server. Because
every machine should use its own keys (otherwise we had to export the
directory with root priviledges so that every machine could read the
private keys from /usr/local/etc/ssh), we created the keys in /etc/ssh
and modified the configuration files

This problem is in v7.5 and v7.6. See dh.c:436.

Problem with sshd host key checking, for my own build with custom prefix
Hello openssh developers,
I was builiding openssh-4.7p, and it builds successfully with my own
prefix (--prefix=/path/to/sshd).
The problem is when I execute sshd, it warns about permission being too open:
hostname:/path root# /path/to/sshd -t -f /path/to/sshd_config

server host keys for kvm clones
Respecting cloning vm guests, I see in /etc/ssh the
following:
ssh_host_dsa_key
ssh_host_dsa_key.pub
ssh_host_key
ssh_host_key.pub
ssh_host_rsa_key
ssh_host_rsa_key.pub
Is there a simple script somewhere to regenerate all the
server host keys for the new guest after cloning?

RES: OpenSSH with slow login
I gueess it is not a DNS problem, because either using name or IP, I have
always the problem.
I guess the problem is that I am using ssh on inetd.conf (sshd -i), so It
has to generate a key each time I start a session. What do you think ?
