Naming clash: -DCLS=n and CLS in code
While building llvm & clang & libs by giving some optimization options to the building compiler, the following error happened: I think it is related to the passed -DCLS=64, because in file clang/lib/Frontend/Rewrite/RewriteModernObjC.cpp:6411 an enum member has the same name (CLS), so it does a macro-substitution with the passed value of CLS, ie. with 64, but which of course then breakes

delay before dial on TDM04B
I am searching for a way to add a 2 second delay before calling out with Dial(). Sometimes I get the message "you must first dial a 1 to place this call". I presume the phone company is missing the first digit pulsed out sometimes. How do I put a 2 second delay after coming offhook and before dialing the digits? Thanks, jerry

HTML sanitization
Hi. I'm going to add HTML sanitization to markdown-js, and I wanted to hear about other people's experience with this. This mail is long, should take about five minutes to read, but I'll be wasting a lot more time than five minutes if I go down a dead-end rabbit hole on this. From my comments on [the issue on GitHub][]: [the issue on GitHub]:

Why are FXO so expensive?
Hi, I've been browsing for FXO devices, and I'm really surprised at their costs. Why such devices are so expensive and somehow hard to get ? cisco ATA186 I2 vs I1
Hi, I saw your posting about the cisco ata186 I2 vs I1 and the simple vs complex impedance. I ordered a cisco ata186 i2 for use in Canada by mistake, didn't know that I needed the I1 version. Will the I2 version work in Canada with regular anlog phones, or will I need to change it. Thanks for your answer. Samy -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

Using asterisk as voicemail with SER
Hi, I'm currently using SER, and the voicemail system there is not stable, and is lacking IVR. I'm wondering if I could use asterisk as a voicemail system only, where calls will get redirected by ser to asterisk and users will be able to leave a message. Is this setup workable, and have anybody done that ? Thanks. Samy.

Rsync stops randomly (using vanished files bash script)
Hey, I've been trying to transfer about 90GB from one Server to another using rsync. But rsync stops randomly. I use the bash script provided in a bug report, to block errors about vanished files! Here is how I start rsync: ./rsync-no-vanished -vvvvv -a -e ssh --delete --progress -z root@kilu3.de:/var/www/users /data/oldkilu3/ > /data/rsync.kilu3n & When I log in into the server

Upgrading Asterisk in Trixbox installation
Hi, My Trixbox 2.8.0.1 installation includes the following Asterik version: 1.6.0.9-samy-r27 I am having some problems with it and I think they might be solved if I use the latest Asterisk version. Is it a good idea to update Asterisk in Trixbox externally ? Is it safe ? If so, which version should I prefer ? 1.6.1.5 or 1.6.0.14 ? Thanks, ilker -------------- next part -------------- An HTML

Asterisk MWI issue
Hi, I am using Asterisk personally at home. My SIP client (SPA 3000) supports MWI with SIP NOTIFY messages. With a previous version of Asterisk I had no problems with MWI. But now I am using the following version which comes with Trixbox 2.8.0.1, and I have problems with MWI. ups not recognized by usbhid-ups
I've posted this before being subscribed but was thwarted by moderation. I have a new UPS, actual manufacturer unknown. It comes with USB and serial connections, and a CD with windows software and some old unix software for serial support only. I'm using pretty much bleeding edge linux, and I want to avoid rs-232 if possible. Am I hopelessly naive? This is what lsusb says: Bus 006

Jail support for mac_portacl(4).
Hi. When we don't have too many IP addresses available and we want to run for example www server inside a jail, but use the same IP address as the main system, we need to actually use an internal IP address and forward http port with firewall from external IP to jail's IP. In that way we know that if somebody breaks into out jail, he cannot run sshd server (we have keys, I know) or any
