Do you have any /lib64/libc.so* or /usr/lib64/libc.so* ?
Are you still setting LIBRARY_PATH or LD_LIBRARY_PATH, as mentioned in:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/binutils/+bug/738098
?
Thanks,
Jay.

[LLVMdev] building llvm-gcc on Ubuntu 11.04 Natty Narwhal
Hi,
I'm trying to build llvm-gcc-4.2 on Ubuntu 11.04 (the Natty Narwhal).
The "make" fails here, trying to build libgcc:

bug en funcion 'agrep'
Estimados R-users:
Estoy intentando usar la función 'agrep' para hacer búsquedas en
cadenas de texto. El parámetro max.distance permite controlar la
medida de aproximación de búsqueda de la función de Levenshtein. No
obstante, cuando hago búsquedas específicas no obtengo siempre el
resultado deseado y no se si es un bug o que no entiendo bien el
algoritmo de búsqueda. Por

ssh 'connection reset by peer' problem since 5.8p1
Hi,
As I haven't seen any related discussion here (or bug in bugzilla), I thought
it'll be good to do a heads-up for a recently introduced problem in 5.8p1 (or at
least after 5.5.x).

Ubuntu: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openssh/+bug/708493

I seem to have found a bug in 5.8p1.
I work remotely, and use three SSH tunnels, two of the form ssh -L
port:host:destport -f -N -q -l remoteuser remotehost, and one of the
form ssh -D port -f -C -q -N -l

Youtube problem etc
HI, I'm new to WINE and Ubuntu!
I am using Ubuntu classic 11?
I've got WINE installed because my webbulider is WINDOWS based.
I also have a problem watching YOU TUBE videos in FULLSCREEN MODE.
It worked fine with Windows - is there something I can do to rectify this?
I do not understand all the components in a system such as what DLL, kernels etc are, so please describe what I can do if

Intel Boot Agent 4.0.19
First, THANKS! The SYSLINUX/PXELINUX s/w and docs are great. I have been
able to set up a working server for PXE boot in very little time, using our
existing Win2k DHCP server and a Red Hat 7.2 Linux server for tftp, etc...
It took very little time (compared to an earlier effort 4 months ago.....)
and the pxelinux/menu/memdisk environment is great for us.
The environment seems to support PXE

On automatic MAC selection in OpenSSH_6.7p1 + OpenSSL 1.0.1k
Dear All,
I am writing this email because of some observed strange behavior of ssh. I
think this is some sort of complement of the issue that was discussed in
[1] ([2, 3, 4, 5, 6] were related to the issue).
Long story short, I have a client and a server, both running the latest
raspbian jessie with all the relevant updates in two different countries
(i.e. both OpenSSH_6.7p1 Raspbian-5+deb8u2,

Hi,
I have posted to this list once before without any reply. It would be
nice if some reply could indicate why the posting was not appropriate
and some indication as to what one should do - the last time I included
my smbconf. This time I have reworked my questions, limited their scope
, and put them in two emails.
I have two essentially identical linux computers [east and west] both

I'm trying to get my Windows Mobile 6 phone working as an asterisk client.
Overall things are working well. However, I regularly get the following

ssh_SSLeay_add_all_algorithms()
I am confused on how ssh_SSLeay_add_all_algorithms() get used in the ssh applications for openssh-5.7p1 and later releases.
I don't see any of the applications making calls to ssh_SSLeay_add_all_algorithms().
There is a macro that redefines SSLeay_add_all_algorithms() to ssh_SSLeay_add_all_algorithms() but I don't see any code calling SSLeay_add_all_algorithms().
In openssh-5.6p1 and
