Problem with LDA. When vacation auto-reply sent, the field from=<>.
Hi,
My problem is that when vacation auto-reply sent the field from=<>
Because of this does not work "sender_dependent_relayhost_maps" in postfix.
My scheme is:
There are several postfix on different machines
1.1.1.1 - domain1
2.2.2.2 - domain2
3.3.3.3 - domain3
All they send messages to one server
virtual_transport = lmtp:10.10.10.10:24
where mail is stored.

lda: vacation auto-reply for a virtual address
Hi, I am using Dovecot to manage a complex virtual mailbox setup.
It's all working splendidly, thanks to the Dovecot LDA.
This morning, however, I needed to create a vacation-style autoreply
for one of the virtual addresses. I made use of cmusieve,
authored a little sieve script, and had it working in no time...
until I discovered how limited sieve's vacation module is. Most

looking for information on Vacation auto-reply
Hello
We are looking for information on how to use Vacation auto-reply .
I've read http://wiki2.dovecot.org/Pigeonhole/Sieve/Usage and a few
other pages, but have not found how to set it up.
We use sogo and thunderbird .
Is there a how to or document for this somewhere?
This is our configuration information:

Pigeonhole-sieve auto-reply
Is it possible to have a sieve script reply with a press message to certain emails (and only certain emails) based on sieve matches?
I see a lot on vacation replies, but I want something more specific.
Something along the lines of procmails formail command?
Everything I?ve searched for is about vacation r filing replies into the same folder as the original message.

Public key authentication and logging
Hello,
[This message has been sent previously to the
ssh-users list, but got no answer, so maybe it's not a
usage problem. Sorry for the crossposting]
We are using OpenSSH 4.1p1 on a Linux box. The only
authentication method allowed is by public key.
Everything works without any problem, EXCEPT logging
in one situation :
1/ if a known user tries to log, with a proper (known)
key, as

Locked account and logging in with public key
Hi!
I'm using Openssh v3.5p1 with Solaris 8 compiled with pam support enabled.
It seems that if I use public key authentication I can log in to an
account that is locked (/etc/shadow has *LK* as password).
Login is also allowed even if the user does not have a valid shell.
Is this a bug or am I missing something?

logging the public key
Can openssh log which public key, as listed in the authorized keys file,
was used to log in? If so, how?
I don't see a config option, so I'm currently using a custom command via
COMMAND="....." ssh-dss AAAAB3Nza..... key1
COMMAND="....." ssh-dss AAAABFFFF..... key2
to log the key. It would be nice if there was a better way.
Suggestions?
Anthony.

cmusieve auto-reply and quota
Hi there,
I'm quite new to Dovecot, but already can tell that it is a really
great work, congrats to the developers!
But I'm having a little problem and couldn't figure it out how to solve.
First, let me talk about my setup:
I'm running Debian 5 (Lenny) with it's default Dovecot (common, pop3
and imap) packages (version 1:1.0.15-2.3+lenny1), I really would like

Sieve Vacation Auto-Reply Exclusions
The Dovecot Wiki is quite clear regarding its vacation auto-reply
mechanism http://wiki.dovecot.org/LDA/Sieve and under what
circumstances the automatic replies will NOT be sent. However, is it
possible to manually add a list of envelope senders that the script
will not respond to?
Thank you,

Pigeonhole-sieve auto-reply
A vaction message does not need to be sending text about a leave of
absense. It is just a rule with criteria being executed. Change the rule
to whatever you want, get to know the sieve 'language'.
I asked once here something about executing rules on dragging messages
to mailboxes/folders, they refered me to imapsieve or sieveimap. Maybe
this could help you also.

Unfortunately Outlook doesn't offer this capability, as far as I know.

Sorry to bring this up again.
I have now configured my test server to pass all email messages off to
our central campus email filter gateway. This gateway scans all email
traffic for viruses/spam before being delivered to any local mail servers.
Once I did this my auto vacation replies are getting canned due to the
fact the from header line is empty
