SPA 3102 unable to detect hangup
Hi,
I have a Linksys SPA 3102 using as ATA. The call routing is : Phone -> PSTN
-> SPA 3102 -> SIP Proxy -> Asterisk
The problem I am having is that when the phone hangs up, SPA 3102 can't
detect it and relay the CANCEL message.
Is this problem with my SPA 3102 config or it just works like that by
default?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Regards,
Mark

[3102] How to rewrite CID name + number?
Hello
I use the Linksys 3102 to connect Asterisk to a POTS line, and XLite
on XP as an SIP client:
http://img694.imageshack.us/img694/1421/3102asteriskxlitecid.png
The problem is that by default, Asterisk doesn't rewrite the CID name
+ number in incoming calls, so that XLite displays whatever name I
used in the 3102 and the extension the 3102 uses to register with
Asterisk.
How can I tell

mediatrix 1104
Hi all,
I just got a Mediatrix 1104 evaluation unit -- a 4 port fxs sip gateway.
There's no printed documentation shipped with the unit, but I have a piece
of software for windows that shipped with a different model (which I haven't
tried configuring yet), that uses snmp to set misc variables (ip settings,
sip stuff, etc.). Fairly baroque interface & pretty slim on help...

Distance function
Hello you all from the R Help mailing list!
I am working on a PowerBook with Mac Os X and use R 2.5.0.
I used the distance function from the analogue package to perform a
similarity analysis using the Gowers Index and weighted Variables.
My variables are bivariate data and measurements as well as interval
data transformed into minimum and maximum variables.
I used this Code:

3Com 3102 Phones
Has any advancement been made to get 3102 operational in either a SIP or
H323 asterisk environment.
A post back in time mentioned a downloader service.
>From the posts and articles I have read, the NCP is acting like a bootp
and tftp server which uploads the configuration to the phone??
Am I close? if so, where does one get the SIP image for he 3102 and
2102 phones?

sip_write warning when executing Pickup of CAPI
I'm trying to pick up a ringing SIP phone (203) across the office with
exten => *9,1,Pickup(783743)
where 783743 is the local part of the number that our ISDN works on.
I tried all of these first:
exten => *9,1,Pickup(203)
exten => *9,1,Pickup(SIP/203)
exten => *9,1,Pickup(203@internal)
and got a "declined" message back from my phone (snom 300), so I then

About list to list - thanks
Thank you very much for your useful suggestions.
These are exactly what I was looking for.
foo <- list(foo1, foo2, foo3)
lapply(foo, function(x) matrix(unlist(x), nrow = length(x), byrow = TRUE))
or
lapply(foo, function(x) do.call('rbind', x))

dial multiple extensions
Hello,
I've got a problem with something I'm doing and can't seem to figure it
out. I've tried different suggestions I've found on voip-info.org as well
as other sites but nothing I do seems to work.
I've got an older Digium TDM400P. The FXO daughter card is connected to my
POTS line and the FXS daughter card is connected to a TDM phone. I also
have multiple SIP

Sharp ZQ-290s sync software
Hi,
Since Sharps communication protocols are "top secret", I'm trying to
port their sync software to linux.
I'm new to wine, so this might be silly, but after hours of googling and
searching for solutions I'm posting this.
After installing DCOM98.exe, the Desktop software installed, and it
runs. Only problem is it doesn't detect the device connected to the
serial port

T.38 fax solution, opinions?
Hi,
I'm putting together a fax solution for my company that utilizes T.38. I
wanted to throw out my plan and get some feedback if anyone is doing
something similar or sees a blatant problem with it.
We're currently rolling out SPA-942 phones for the standard desk phone with
vanilla Asterisk 1.4.15 (just upgraded it today) on the back end. Most calls

Converting matrix to data frame without losing an assigned dimname
Hello All,
Would like to be able to convert a matrix to a dataframe without losing an assigned dimname.
Here is an example that should illustrate what I'm talking about.

kernel bug ?
Hi,
I was using kernel-2.6.18-164.15.1 with no known issues. Then, I updated to:
Linux 2.6.18-194.17.1.el5 #1 SMP Wed Sep 29 12:50:31 EDT 2010 x86_64
x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
I'm aware that there are later updates that patch couple more security bugs.
Here is an issue I run with 2.6.18-194.17.1 and am asking if anyone
hits that kernel bug.
Here are the symptoms:
1) kswapd1 running at 100%,

Linksys SPA 3102 causing me problems
I have a linksys SPA 3102 with a DECT phone connected into its Telephone
port.
It has been working, but something I've done (and I don't know what)
means that now everytime asterisk tries to dial it, it says it is busy.
I can make calls from it through asterisk
I am at a complete loss to know what to try next to fix it. Any ideas?
