scp -t - revisited.....‏
>From the testing that I've done so far, using the command= restriction essentially ignores any and all attempts by the client to send different remote filenames, directory commands, etc... using scp -i some_key localfile remotehost:../../../../../../../../../../tmp/file places a copy of the file named "localfile" in the directory specified in the command= line of the

scp -t - revisited.....
Okay - We went around and around on the idea that adding an option to restrict scp to only allow files to be copied to a certain directory (or below) based on a different startup param. I was told to use all sorts of different options, parameters, methods, etc... All because no one wanted to modify the scp code, for whatever reasoning. I'm sitting here laughing right now, seriously

Traffic generation and measurement
Hello, i am searching for a method to generate traffic and measure it, to compare several version of tc configurations. For my thesis i am researching the best way to use tc for medium sized companies. For this purpose i analyzed the company network and created a tc schema. Now i have to test this definition in a kind of simulation outside the network. Also i have to do a comparison of the

[LLVMdev] RegisterScavenging on targets without subregisters
No, I wasn't having a management lobotomy moment. If the target's registers have no subregisters, SubUsed is false and the assert gets tripped. Ok, back to the original question: What was the original intent in this code (lines 186-193 in lib/CodeGen/RegisterScavenging.cpp)? -scooter On Thu, Feb 25, 2010 at 7:00 PM, Scott Michel <scooter.phd at gmail.com> wrote: > Ugh.

scp -t . - possible idea for additional parameter
How difficult would it be to add an additional parameter to the -t that would *lock* the user at that directory level. say -T instead of -t... By locking, I mean translating /path/to/file as ./path/to/file, or ../../../path/../../../path/to/file as ./path/to/file. Basically set a root point as the current home directory, then build the pathing based on that, any "../" would become

[LLVMdev] RegisterScavenging on targets without subregisters
Ugh. Management lobotomy kicked in. Need to RTFC better. SSH, SCP connections to remote MySQL Database using OpenOffice Possible?
I'm trying to find a way to get remote connections from my Linux Desktop machine to a remote Linux box which is hosting a MySQL database, via SSH port 22, and then once connection is established, log in to the database port 3306 and have either an SSH and or SCP connection established so I can securely do edits and queries. I am able to connect this way from my Windows machine to remote

[LLVMdev] RegisterScavenging on targets without subregisters
There's an assert at line 192, lib/CodeGen/RegisterScavenging.cpp that appears to get tripped on targets that don't have subregisters defined: bool SubUsed = false; for (const unsigned *SubRegs = TRI->getSubRegisters(Reg); unsigned SubReg = *SubRegs; ++SubRegs) if (isUsed(SubReg)) { SubUsed = true; break; }

I have done some experimenting but if am incorrect I would like someone to correct me. I am trying to run multiple streams so what I have created additional directories such as mrock24, mRock64, and mRock128 in the '/etc/ices' directory . RE: Newbie question - unable to start guest OS on Fedora 8 <solved>
OK, I managed to get past this problem. There were two issues - I did not have peth0 configured correctly (as you can see, the ifconfig output does not show a peth0). That was resolved by fixing my settings in the network manager. The second issue was that I don''t have a static IP address, so I selected the option for DHCP on wireless during the guest host setup. I switched to static IP

[LLVMdev] machine pass
Hi, LLVM documentation is not clear. Is it possible to write a machine pass? I am trying to insert some machine code before the return instruction. ideally, I'd like a pass that runs the last one before generating assembly. How can this be done? Looking for Prepaid Solution
All; I am looking for a solution a motel that is switching to VoIP. They are especially interested in prepaid services. That is, a resident will come to the office and pre-pay for phone services for their room. When the money runs out, service is shut off, and they need to come down to the office again. Accurate reports are very important. A search on voip-info.org shows several solutions out
