Postfix 2.2.x RPM ETA
Guys
I'm desperately looking for a postfix 2.2.x SRPM. I currently use 2.1.5..
I've found these, http://ftp.wl0.org/yum/postfix/2.2/rhel4/SRPMS.postfix/
Has anyone tried them, or can anyone recommend a proper SRPM for me
for Centos 4.1?
Kind regards

Using setfacl to control access to /dev/kqemu
Solaris 10U3, latest kqemu, qemu-0.9.0-CVS plus TAP patch.
I''m aware that a fair amount of "rootish" access is required for the TAP and bridge
stuff, and I''m working on that. As kind of a secuirty thought, I figured
I''d use setfacl to give myself access to the /dev/kqemu device instead
of leaving it mode 664 or 666.
However, that didn''t work.

CentOS 4 install problems
Hi folks,
Has anyone experienced install problems with CentOS 4. More precisely
anaconda crashing with some remarks regarding python scripts. The funny
thing is the first installation went well. It's the re-install that
fails. Although I completely changed partitioning and reformatted the
drive. I had the same problem with fedora core 3 some time ago. To me
it looks as if it's

2.4 kernel on CentOS 4.1
Just wondering if anyone is running a 2.4 kernel with CentOS 4.1? I need
to "downgrade" for compatability with a disk driver, and from experience I
know this can be a HUGE problem with certain other distros...

Harald

kqemu
Hi
we have a Debian 64 bit system with qemu 0.9.1-10 ( uname -a =

Still when we create a VM we sometimes get the following error message:

enough space in '/dev/shm' for the 499 MB of QEMU virtual RAM.

centos' current release versions?
hi,
what is the current release versions for centos? it seems to a trivial
question although:
- centos/3 -> 3.4 why not to 3.5?
- centos/4 -> 4.0 why not to 4.1?
on the other hand
# rpm -q centos-release
centos-release-4-1.2
why not centos-release-4.1-2? in the current case we can't write in
yum's repo file we can't write:
.../centos/$releasever/os/$basearch/
since $releasever is

New qemu source drop with improved kqemu module
I have uploaded a current source drop from the qemu subversion repository,
to the download area. Additionally, there is a new Kernel kqemu module
that will allow a 32-bit guest to run on a 64-bit host.
The current source base uses a different code generator from the orignial
Dyngen one. The new one is called "TCG" for "The Code Generator" and

another yum question
Hello centos community,
I have a personal repository with self-made RPMs, and i need to include
this repository to yum.conf. But i've noticed that yum configuration is
overwritten when yum is updated. I can't update yum.conf manually on
my servers each time yum is updated ...
Is anyone have an idea ?
Thank you.
