Quadrified GTX 480 VT-d passthrough. CUDA 5.5 in Linux partial success
Hi everyone,
after following in the footsteps of the following discussion
(http://lists.xenproject.org/archives/html/xen-users/2013-09/msg00106.html)
I had been able to turn my GTX 480 into a Quadro 6000. When I VT-d
passthrough it to a Debian jessie VM it shows up fine and CUDA 5.5
seems to function properly up to a point:

Agent Forwarding Anomalies on OpenBSD 3.3/OpenSSH 3.6.1
I have a curious situation with four OpenBSD 3.3 hosts.
Each of these has public/private keys on each other for inter-host
authentication using RSA2 keys.
For instance, they're called hostA-to-hostBCD, hostB-to-hostACD,
hostC-to-hostABD, and hostD-to-hostABC.
The sshd_config files, on each host, look as follows...
#;
#; /etc/ssh/sshd_config

new related project nutdown: https://github.com/arwarw/nutdown
Hello,
I'd like to announce "nutdown", a nut client written using perl
UPS::Nut.
It's purpose is to enable shutdowns in stages, e.g. "less important
servers shut down at 80% charge, the important ones at 10% and the nut
server at 5%". To that end, nutdown supports "events" like power_fail,
the charge falling below configurable percentages (i.e. every

Using Dropbear for RTOS which is not POSIX complaint?
Hi,
We have a proprietary RTOS which is *not* POSIX complaint. We want to port
SSH server and SCP client onto our platform. How difficult it would be, to
port Dropbear into our platform? We would like to integrate our CLI with the
SSH.
Any recommendations on using Dropbear for our platform? Appreciate sharing
your experiences with Dropbear.

Libvirt API for C/C++ : Monitoring Support
Greetings,
I am a developer, trying to develop a system for monitoring Servers and Virtual Machines using Libvirt API for C/C++. I am facing an issue that there are no functions for monitoring some parameters which I have listed below. I would like to know if there is any there way I can retrieve these parameters since they are critical to my Monitoring Application. Also I am using CentOS 5.6 as

sftp client reget reput
we have implemented this function for 3.1p1, and have been using it in
production sense may 2002. The patch has been ported to 3.7.1p2, we have
been using it in 3.7.1p2 for awhile, if anyone is interested, here it is.
This is the same patch David Bradford talked about on 2002-06-05

Is it good for agent forwarding to creates socket in /tmp/
Hi Alexander Wuerstlein
Thank for the information.
Now I agree that it's better to save the socket in /tmp/
I checked the source code and found that it is hard-coded.
/* Allocate a buffer for the socket name, and format the name. */
auth_sock_dir = xstrdup("/tmp/ssh-XXXXXXXXXX");
It would be nice if openssh provides an option to overwrite this default.

Best mail encryption solution for per-user
Hai,
Do you have advice about Dovecot plugins for mail encryption:
https://wiki2.dovecot.org/Plugins/MailCrypt
https://0xacab.org/riseuplabs/trees
I like NaCL based encryption but the MailCrypt plugin is better
because it's maintained by Dovecot developers (is this correct?)
Hard to understand MailCrypt docs so may I ask, may I provide per user
encryption? I don't like global

mailbox encryption
Hello,
I've got dovecot 2.3 going, and I've got a file 10-mailcrypt.conf
which is loading mail_crypt, thinking that that plugin would propagate
through all the services, sieve, lmtp, and mailbox message storage.
I'm not seeing anything in the logs indicating that the encryption is
happening.
I am using a file format dbox specifically sdbox format, and in my
mailbox I am seeing files

Xen 3.0 User''s Manual
Hello all. I''m the tech writer at XenSource, Inc., and I''ve been asked
to ride herd on getting the revised Xen 3.0 User''s Manual put together,
reviewed, etc. We are targeting a review draft for 11/21 and it would be
great if any significant additions or changes that any contributers
might be making could get checked in before then so the review process

Proposal: always handle keys in separate process
How about using the existing OpenSSH client's PKCS#11 support to
isolate keying material in a dedicated process?
A similar approach, "Practical key privilege separation using Caml
Crush", was discussed at FOSDEM'15 with a focus on
Heatbleed [1][2] but the ideas and principles are the same.
Now this is easily done using the following available components:

Thanks for posting this.
One thing that I would consider changing is to treat "ups.status" as a set (splitting on whitespace, if any), and to not rely on the order of the status flags.
Actually, splitting ups.status into an array
