Terminal periodically hangs
Ssh connects and authenticates correctly, but sessions periodically hang for minutes at a time. This behaviour also occurs when sftp is used to transfer files - the connection will periodically hang, and then resume transfer. No problem piping rsync over ssh, though (rsync -e ssh ack ugh:/home/foo/ack). Both ssh and sftp problem occur when server is accessed over internal LAN or external

Patches to enable logging of sftp and scp
Hi all, Looking around for a way to turn on server side logging of files transferred via sftp/scp, these kept-up-to-date patches cropped up: For SFTP http://sftplogging.sourceforge.net For SCP http://sweb.cz/v_t_m/ (near the bottom) Would someone from the OpenSSH team have time/inclination enough to look at adding these to OpenSSH itself? Regards and best wishes, Justin Clift Unix

questions regarding nsswitch and the internal-sftp server and ChrootDirectory options
What is the intended behavior of the internal-sftp server when looking to resolve identity information for user via the nsswitch configured mechanisms? I am seeing different behavior between two packaged versions and am looking to understand what should be expected. Scenario: Utilizing a developed directory services plugin (dsplug), "ls" access on the sftp session fails with the

OpenSSH port to the .Net Platform
I am interested in starting a project to port stable versions of OpenSSH to C#, compilable as a stable .Net Library. I was wondering what the list's feelings would be on such a port, if any one else would be interested in such a port, and for any suggestions on raising interest from others to perform such a port. I have nothing against Java and would welcome a similar effort from that arena.
