Speex for XScale IXP425
Hi, I was wondering if anyone had managed to get speex to run (nicely) on an IXP425 processor. The current version does not seem to have the necessary optimisations for the ARM v5te, just the v5 which has assembly optimisations not understood by this target. Failing that, does anyone know where I might get a reference for this model of processor? I have look on the Intel site, but I can't

IMQ stability
Hi, I''ve never actually even tried to use the IMQ device before, but I''ve watched the emails go back and forth on various problems associated with it, and what looks like some general instability. How stable is it really ? Is it suitable for full-time use on a large number of routers ? Has anyone used it on ipsec0 + eth0 devices for shaping ? and lastly, any difference

PATCH : [Re: [Fwd: broadcast over gre tunnel?]]
Hi Guys, Here is our patch to allow broadcast packets over a GRE tunnel. Hopefully it might be accepted into the source someday. You need to enabled bridging and GRE tunnels in your kernel. No other options are required. The gre patch determines what type of protocol type to put in the GRE header based on the whether the packet is forwarded from a bridge or not. To use the patch: # Create

[LLVMdev] Building on x86-64
I made my first attempt to build on an x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu system. Is this supposed to work? I get libtools errors (below). The problem seems to be that it finds a 32-bit libltdl rather than the 64-bit libltdl. /home/dag> ls /usr/lib/libltdl.so.3.1.0 /usr/lib/libltdl.so.3.1.0 /home/dag> ls /usr/lib64/libltdl.so.3.1.0 /usr/lib64/libltdl.so.3.1.0 Is this a known problem?

RE: [SLE] SuSE 9.3 and Latest Binaries - Library Conflict
Cross-posting scares me, but... Have you looked at the latest RPMs for SuSE, from ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/projects/samba/ ? They've worked like a charm for me, thus far (revision after revision, a simple rpm -U * seems to work...) -----Original Message----- From: david rankin [mailto:drankin@cox-internet.com] Sent: Mon 9/12/2005 5:30 PM To: samba; Suse Linux Subject: [SLE] SuSE 9.3 and

Dynamic link library
Hello, I am currently working on getting rid of libraries dependencies from nut-scanner. Currently nut-scanner depends on several external libs (avahi, snmp, neon, usb). This becomes a nightmare in terms of distribution. So Arnaud asked me to dynamically link those libraries so we come back to a viable package. To do this, I ended up choosing libltdl for a portable implementation but I have

SuSE 9.3 samba binaries FUBAR??
Mates, I dunno if nobody else is using the samba binaries to put 3.0.20-1 on SuSE 9.3 -- or -- if I'm just doing something stupid, but there seem to be library problems. Specifically, we are getting library errors for the *.so.2 libraries, regardless of whether we try via YAST or RPM. david@nemesis:~/Documents/linux/rpms/samba320> ll total 19970 -rw-r--r-- 1 david users 60998

Compiling libspeex for Blackfin
Hi Jean, First, I would like to thank for the prompt reply. Basically, what I have to do is to run a speex coder/decoder on a Blackfin processor, on top of the microC/OS II kernel. I wish I could use uclinux, since I'm familiar with Linux, but this doesn't depend on me. You said that the assembly code is written for gcc, not for VisualDSP++. Furthermore, in the link you sent me, the

smbmount uclinux
Hello All, Is there any information other than uclinux-dev mailing list that outlines the proper way to use smbmount on uclinux? I have looked through the mail lists on uclinux-dev and googled everything that I could think of. I have tried every form of the smbmount //windowsbox/share /mnt -o options I can think of. I always get ERRDOS ERRnoaccess (Access Denied). Robert Armenta

LIBCRYPTO?
Hi all, I have a question about OpenSSH configuration. In Makefile there is defined LIBS=$(LIBCRYPTO), but the problem is that the version of OpenSSL that I'm using holds only the version LIBCRYPT. When adding LIBCRYPT to the Makefile I get: sshd.elf2flt: In function `key_regeneration_alarm': /.../ssh/sshd.c:252: undefined reference to `RSA_free' /.../ssh/sshd.c:253: undefined

Problem with Blackfin assembly optimizations -- bug in fixed_bfin.h?
Hello everybody, I'm currently trying to run speex on the Blackfin (BF-537) STAMP evaluation board unter uCLinux. Using 1.2 beta 3, I encountered problems when activating the Blackfin assembler optimizations. Without optimizations for blackfin, i.e. calling ./configure --enable-fixed-point --host=bfin-uclinux everything seems to work fine. But when I add the --enable-blackfin-asm flag to

[LLVMdev] Building on x86-64
No i have multilib configuration (whatever this means on gentoo ;) and there are 32bit libs. Libtool version installed is 1.5.22. Maybe its patched/configured specially by gentoos build system. ls -la /usr/ ... lib -> lib64 lib32 lib64 There is a libltdl.s.3.1.4 in lib32 and lib64. But i have quite the opposite problem: getting 32bit versions of llvm-gcc to build on the 64 bit machine. In
