openssh-unix-dev Digest, Vol 35, Issue 1
OpenSSH depends heavily upon OpenSSL. Both cleanly build 64 bit binaries. In the case of sparcv9 binaries, you should probably make sure you have *both* 32bit and 64bit OpenSSL binaries installed, and take extra care to configure your so library paths. On systems that are 100% 64bit, (Linux, FreeBSD in my experience) it just works. On Feb 28, 2006, at 9:23 AM, openssh-unix-dev-request at

ipf stopped working on 5.3
I've had ipf working on a few 5.3 servers for quite awhile. Not too long ago some developers had to do some coding work and were coming from dynamic IP's. I (reluctantly) opened up SSH to the world. Immediately I started seeing the attacks where bots of some sort would try to break in with a variety of different users. So, I (thought) I closed it up again and told the developers to use a

ipf function in R
Hi I have a 3 x 2 contingency table: 10 20 30 40 50 60 I want to update the frequencies to new marginal totals: 100 130 40 80 110 I want to use the ipf (iterative proportional fitting) function which is apparently in the cat package. Can somebody please advice me how to input this data and invoke ipf in R to obtain an updated contingency table? Thanks. By the way I am quite new to R. -- Dr

ArtDio IPF-2000 or Sipura SPA-841
I am looking at some lower cost phone to use with Asterisk. What is the ArtDio IPF-2000 or the Sipura SPA-841 like? Also, I see voipsupply.com has an ArtDio IPF-1000 listed, is this a new or an old model? I cannot find any information on it. Adi

Linker Option support for ELF
We use .note descriptors with ELF on OpenVMS.  We have self-describing entries with tags and lengths.  The compiler encodes stuff for the linker such as compiler version, compilation date-time, module name, final severity of the compilation, etc.  The linker itself then adds/modifies the .note entries to insert linker version, link date/time, etc.  We also use .notes to record floating point

Implementing a VTable in LLVM
Hi all, I’ve been working on a Java-esque object-oriented language Bolt that targets LLVM IR. I’m agonisingly close to getting a virtual table working, and was hoping one of you could point out the gap in my understanding. I’ve linked the C++ code snippets relevant to the vtable below. Example IR generated (partially displayed below):

I have followed the cisco asterisk integration on the wiki. I have also setup a number 3000 for dialing for current local time and date on asterisk. I can call from a sip phone behind asterisk, no problems. The problem

Asterisk/SER/Call Manager
Hi all, I have Asterisk talking to my call manager 4.0 with SIP trunk as mentioned in the wiki. I also have SER talking to Asterisk. I need the SER talking to my Call manager. The reason why CCM cannot talk to SER is because SER is a on a public ip address, and CCM is on a private ip address. The asterisk how ever has 2 nics, which talks to both and external. Is it possible to allow

Default login information for a ArtDio IPF-2600
Hello, I recently purchased a ArtDio IPF-2600 phone from voipsupply.com, but they did not include a manual. Does anyone know the default login information? I have tried all of the common ones that I can think of. If anyone knows, it would be greatly appreciated. Iterative Proportional Fitting, use
Hi list, I would like to normalize a matrix (two actually for comparison) using iterative proportional fitting. Using ipf() would be the easiest way to do this, however I can't get my head around the use of the function. More specifically, the margins settings... for a matrix: mat <- matrix(c(65,4,22,24,6,81,5,8,0,11,85,19,4,7,3,90),4,4) using fit <-
