mini atx and asterisk (EPIA and the like)
Hi, haven't found anything in google's, i wonder if there is a
comparative page of what to expect from running * on motherboards like
the EPIA and similar ones.
Since i have not used *ever* such kind of mini atx form factor boards,
I have no clue about their performance.

anchor names from headers (Setext and atx)?
It would be useful if defining headers (either Setext and atx style), if
Markdown would also generate corresponding anchors:
## This is an H2 ##
would create:

This is an H2

Or something like that.
Or is that available some different way?
Thanks,

24V DC ATX PSU with limited UPS functionality over USB
Hello Developers and *,
I am working on a "24V DC ATX PSU" for Photopholtaik Systems which can
have input voltages from 18V to 27.7 Volt and is entirely modular,
which mean, you can select the desired module/s (up to 6) from ATX
(96/144/240/300W), P4 (144W), SATA (82/305W) and Device (34/68/136W)
And last not least, I want to build a "PowerWhatch" module which should

Kind of OT: Question about power button
Hi,
Sorry to go off topic, but I'm not sure where exactly to ask.
I'm booting off the network via pxelinux (running on one of those VIA EPIA boards). Sometimes, the computer just *stalls* ... it doesn't respond to the keyboard, you can't telnet in, etc. I can't even reset or turn of the computer via the ATX buttons. I don't think I have any funny ACPI or power management

usb drives & Orico ORICO 9548U3-BK
Everyone,
Is there a way to manually assign usb drives to a specified device
label. Is there a way to force two usb drives to be labeled as
/dev/sdc and /dev/sdd?
I decided to build an archive server for the purpose of backing up
other fedora/centos desktops at the office. I built a machine and have
installed Centos 7.3 on it with all updates current. I also purchased
a 3.0 usb sata drive

plot(x,y,type="o",...)
atx <- seq(as.Date("2009-04-01"),as.Date("2011-04-01"),"month")
axis.Date(1, at=atx,labels=format(atx, "%b\n%Y"), padj=0.5 )
but I do not want lines between points whose distance is greater than
two weeks.

Prefered Method for UPS?
Hello,
since I had delayed the programming of the UPS Device part, now it is
time to continue...
My Device is "24 V DC modular ATX PSU" which replace the standard ATX
Power Supply in PCs and use 15-43 V Input Voltage. The microcontroller
is a TI LM3S5T36 Cortex M3 and I get the "UPS" infos using up to 4 Maxim
DS1780 and some I?C current sensors. The ATX PSU has 4

OT: Q: Howto implement a monitored Shell for remote logins
I sometimes need to allow sub-contracted admins root ssh access to my
servers. Later, I always wonder what they did during access.
Is there any shell that provides all shell abilities to the remote user
but monitors/emails a designated user each command executed in the shell
terminal and does not allow the user (even root) to modify the bash history file or
similar shell history file, or maybe

Re: First XEN install: Installing XEN in virtual machine? &Remote GUI for XEN? & etc.
1) No, not necessarily. Many VM systems (Parallels, VMware, even XEN HVMs) emulate Ring 0 access for the operating system running on top of it, so there isn''t any reason for direct hardware access. However, you really should grab some older or cheaper hardware and install Xen directly on the hardware - it will be very, very slow running inside parallels.
2) There really isn''t

Request advise regarding Driver for Intel Motherboard

I made the mistake of assuming all Intel motherboards would be Linux

I have bought an Intel board DG41RQI

which does not support Linux Out of
