[PATCH] Optionally enable OpenSSL hardware support
Hi all. While on the subject of the OpenSSL interface, this patch optionally enables OpenSSL's ENGINE support at build time. Apply to a snapshot, autoreconf and "./configure --with-ssl-engine". Testing (esp. with a real hardware engine) would be appreciated. Index: INSTALL =================================================================== RCS file:

configure/makefile cleanup: remove LIBSELINUX, LIBWRAP and LIBPAM
Hi all. Now that we have SSHDLIBS for the libraries required by sshd only, it's possible to remove some of the single-purpose variables from Makefile. If this is worth doing, the next step would probably be to move the OpenSSL libs into CRYPTOLIBS since binaries such as scp and sftp don't need to be linked with libcrypto. Index: Makefile.in

Please review openssh patch for selinux
As posted, here is an updated patch which allows openssh to be built with non-selinux config. (Hi openssh guys, forwarding this to you incase you interested including it into the devel version of openssh. [PATCH] Solaris 10 and missing OpenSSL functions >128bit
Hi all. Solaris 10's default libcrypto does not have support for AES 192 and 256 bit functions. The attached patch, against -current, and based partially on an earlier one by djm, will use OpenSSH's builtin rijndael code for all AES crypto functions and thus will allow it to build and function on Solaris 10 without the extra crypto packages (SUNWcry, SUNWcryr) or a locally built OpenSSL.

configure.in reorder patch
Feb 12 CVS (sort of, see warning below) I've had to change around some of the code in configure.in to get some platforms to compile with the --with-tcp-wrappers option. Basicly I have set it up to check headers check system libraries check for optional packages check functions I have also tried to clean up the library order as it is important on some platforms. This patch works on Solaris

patch: readline support for sftp
Hello, I hope this is the right place to post this. I added readline support to the sftp client. It adds optional --with-readline parameter for configure to enable this feature. You'll of course need to re-run autoheader and autoconf after applying this patch. It's patched against 3.4p1 but should work with any recent openssh. It works fine for me (GNU/Linux) - feel free to test it and

SNAP-20040216 configure mangles krb5-config output
In the latest snapshot's configure file, there is a K5LIBS="`$KRB5CONF --libs gssapi | sed 's/-L[^- ]*//g'`" which doesn't work well on my system: $ krb5-config --libs gssapi -L/opt/heimdal-0.6/lib -lgssapi -lkrb5 -lasn1 -L/opt/lib -lcrypto -lroken Please consider changing it to K5LIBS="`$KRB5CONF --libs gssapi | sed 's/-L[^ ]*//g'`" if that

Fix for configure.in
Hello! The top-level configure.in in the CVS version of Samba uses "echo" instead of the standard AC_MSG_* macros provided by Autoconf. I could not find any reasons for not using AC_MSG_*. "cvs log configure.in" doesn't list any reasons. "cvs annotate configure.in" doesn't work for read-only CVS because the CVS server for Samba is too old! The attached

[PATCH] Allow ./configure --without-qemu.
From: "Richard W.M. Jones" <rjones at redhat.com> This means there will be no default hypervisor, and effectively the user will always have to specify one (eg. by setting LIBGUESTFS_HV or calling guestfs_set_hv). This is useful on platforms where qemu doesn't work, or where qemu is not needed (eg. if you want to use UML, or you just want to compile libguestfs without

AIX openssh patches
I have a few patches for AIX. The patchfile is attached below. The patch has been tested on AIX4.2 and AIX4.3. The patch is on openssh-1.2.1pre25, with openssl-0.94, using RSAref. 1) authenticate support - this function allows the system to determine authentification. Whatever the system allows for login, authenticate will too. It doesn't matter whether it is AFS, DFS, SecureID, local.

Have configure search $PATH for krb5-config
Hi All. Right now, if OpenSSH is configure'ed --with-kerberos5 and the system has a krb5-config that's not in /usr/local/bin then configure won't find it. The attached patch changes this so krb5-config will be used if it's anywhere in the path (although if it exists in the directory specified by --with-kerberos5= then the user-supplied path will take precedence). You will

Included below is a diff between the output from configure on a 64 bit SUse 11.1 (doesn't find libedit) and a 64 bit Suse 10.3 (does find libedit) for otherwise identical setups. 1. How can I get the output set up to look at conftest.c? 2. I added a set -x to configure above LIBEDIT_MSG=no 3. ./configure --with-ldflags="-L/usr/lib64" --with-cflags="-ggdb3
