[PATCH] Getting AFS tokens from a GSSAPI-delegated TGT
Here is a patch I just wrote and tested which may be of interest to
those who wish to use KerberosGetAFSToken (currently requires Heimdal
libkafs) in combination with GSSAPIDelegateCredentials. The patch is
in the public domain and comes with no warranty whatsoever. Applies
to pristine 3.8p1. Works for me on Solaris and Tru64.
I'd probably have used Doug Engert's patch from 2004-01-30 if

Syncing sshd/krb GetAFSToken change to Portable: help wanted
Hi All.
Recently a change was merged from OpenBSD's sshd into Portable that
implements a KerberosGetAFSToken option (patchset attached).
This change causes compile errors with both MIT Kerberos and Heimdal
(errors when compiled with MIT Kerberos below).
I've figured out that the functions called in the new code are in
Heimdal's libkafs, so adding -lkafs to the start for the

FW: Problem with Active Directory authentication
Sorry about being a pain in the neck about this. The AD authentication at the console, and through
SSH to the server is working for one domain user account, but no others. The problem is outlined in
the e-mail that I am forwarding to the mailing list.
How can I correct this?

tell me and I won't do it again.)
Hi All.
There will be a new release of OpenSSH in a couple of weeks. This
release contains Kerberos and GSSAPI related changes that we would like
to get some feedback about (and hopefully address any issues with)
before the release.
I encourage anyone with an interest in

rexec error - where are you
Hi all,
I've a particular host on my network that when I run;
rexec -l username -p password remotehost command
it just hangs.
When I do;
rexec -a -l username -p password remotehost command
i get; Where are you?
If I do;
rexec -l username -p password localhostname (not just localhost but
its actual name) command
it works.
Any ideas would be very appreciated.

unable to login with LDAP when set Uselogin to yes
Hi,
I am not sure this is a bug in Openssh or not.
I am running Openssh 4.1p1. with openssl 0.9.7g
Scenario:
Due to audit enabled on the system, I will need to set Uselogin to yes so
that audit will track system call.
But when try to login to system with a LDAP user. I get the following.
eg:
[n113839 at r3ent15pc ~]$ ssh tfstst1 -l ntesting1
ntesting1 at tfstst1's password:

openssh-4.2p1 + Pam question !
Hi there !
I have an issue with my OpenSSH + PAM configuration on a RedHat Advanced server 2..1
I want to authenticate users connecting to a server using ssh against a radius server. The radius client/server part works ok when I test it with some utilities.
I think I have a problem with my ssh which does not pass the username/password to my pam sshd module.
I have upgraded to openssh-4.2p1.

Also, what compiler did you use to compile OpenSSH? If you compile OpenSSH
(and openssl and zlib if possible) with optimization disabled (-O0) does the
error still occur?

I sent this the other day, but did not get any replies, can anyone help?
Hi All,
I have a sparc solaris 8 server running samba 2.2.11 (which i complied with
winbind).
The server has been running for years and has about 20 local users setup
using local files for openssh and rexec logins, and samba shares.
They each use samba to map to their home directory and a common shared
