RH 8.0, Mozilla and help.start() - Deja Vu All Over Again....
Hi all,
In the continuing process of dealing with the upgrades to Mozilla under
RH 8.0 Linux (present stable release is 1.3) and as a result, the
"breakage" of R's help.start() function, which is a java applet based
search engine, I wanted to point out to folks some key points of
information.

Possible solution for Mozilla/help.start() search problems
I thought that I would post a follow up given the several posts on this
same subject in the past week. All R comments pertain to 1.6.1.
Earlier in the week using a development build of Mozilla under RH 8.0, I
was able to get the help.start() based search engine to work with both
Java and JavaScript enabled. This was using what I believed to be the
V1.2b branch of Mozilla, in which both Xft

bugs introduced by moz dev and their 'bells and whistles' when

firefox or mozilla won't start
Greetings
When I start firefox or mozilla I get an hourglass for 3 seconds then
nothing happends.
Dropping to a terminal and typing firefox just returns to the command
line. I re-installed
firrefox and it installs fine until I quit then the same situation happends.
After re-installing firefox it will run but the same situation happens
where it won't start.

I think I stumbled on at least two bugs in the CentOS 7.2 pacemaker package,
though I'm not quite sure if or where to report it.
I'm using the following package to set up a 2-node active/passive cluster:

on opening what moz devs considered as 'latest and greatest', found that it
was more crapola from moz devs.

swfdec on DirectFb to work for Mozilla Firefox browser with DirectFb backend

I am working on Mozilla Firefox browser which is having DirectFb as backend.
To provide Flash plugin and play support for mozilla i am porting
swfdec-mozilla-0.5.4 to DirectFb.
Please suggest me your ideas how to get Flash Plugin and Play to work
on DirectFb for Mozzilla firefox which is already working on DirectFb.

The search engine use the java plugin but the java plugin is not

Does FASTIPSec in FreeBSD use OCF framework ? Where can I find more

GlusterFS, Pacemaker, OCF resource agents on CentOS 7

I'm wondering if anyone here is using the GlusterFS OCF
resource agents with Pacemaker on CentOS 7?

Font rendering in Firefox after effects
Hi all
I''ve started using some of the scriptaculous effects here, and have
noticed something weird. Whenever I use one of the effects, it causes
many of the fonts on the same page to rendered with a lighter weight
(ie: "less bold").
Has anyone else noticed a similar effect in Firefox? I use 1.5b1 on
Mac. This seems to be a common bug in moz-based browsers, as Camino
does
