Compiling openssh-4.0p1 on Solaris 10.
I am trying to compile OpenSSH 4.0p1 on a new Solaris 10 system using the
OpenSSL that comes w/ the OS (0.9.7d) as well as MIT Krb5 1.4.1 (for various
reasons we are not using Sun's Krb5 implementation):
./configure --prefix=/usr/local --with-kerberos5=/usr/local/krb5
--with-ssl-dir=/usr/sfw
And it looks to be bombing here (adding in random support?):

Issue with ssh-keygen
Hi,
I am running openssh7.3p1 on an embedded Linux system and discovered this problem.
If I run:
ssh-keygen -t rsa1 -f testfile
it appears to generate the key and I get the output:
Generating public/private rsa1 key pair.
Enter passphrase (empty for no passphrase):
Enter same passphrase again:

OpenSSH 4.0p1 ignoring password authentication
Hello,
I recently compiled OpenSSH 4.0p1 with OpenSSL 0.9.7g on my Linux
2.6.11.3 machine. When I try to connect, the connection is
immediately closed. When I setup public key authentication, I am able
to login using my public key. However password authentication seems to
be ignored. I attached debugging output from both the server and
client.
$ ssh -vvv localhost

4.1p1 on AIX5200-05
sshd disconnects

using:
openssl-0.9.7g
zlib-1.2.2
openssh-4.1p1

Compiles ok. ssh works fine.
sshd starts, accepts password, user authenticated
and then disconnects.
Debug log of both sshd and trying-to-connect client

ssh-keygen listing fingerprints little unclear
Since ssh-keygen is not listing the _types_ of keys I have in my file,
wouldn't it be a good idea to make the -t switch filtering out the
selected type of key when doing a listing with -l?
i.e. in this case I see both rsa1, rsa, and dss keys:
$ ssh-keygen -l -f ~/.ssh/known_hosts

make tests failure
Re-post, as I think my last post didn't get through. Sorry, if somebody
got it twice now
Hi
I run in the following make tests error and didn't find any solution to
this.
- This is a test on the localhost, so I guess, there is no man in the
middle attack (hosts file is setup correctly, localhost points to
127.0.0.1)
- I don't want to use protocol 1 anyway, so how can I skip
