PEM_read_PrivateKey failed issue
Hello, I'm having a problem with my ssh client, on FreeBSD 5.4 and 6.1 the same issue. OpenSSH_3.8.1p1 FreeBSD-20040419, OpenSSL 0.9.7e 25 Oct 2004 but also same problem with OpenSSH_4.3 When I make a key, everything goes fine. When I try to change the password on the key it give me the 'PEM_read_PrivateKey failed' problem, this also prevents me from connecting to another host.

Enabling auto-login
How do you enable auto-login? I went into /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf, uncommented autologin-user (and set it to = my login name), and uncommented autologin-user-timeout (and set it to = 0). Is there something else I missed? -- Jason Hsu <jhsu802701 at jasonhsu.com>

autologin-user-timeout
Hello, in the assumption that I understand them correctly I specified in /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf autologin-user=xxxx autologin-user-timeout=10 so that after 10 seconds the user xxxx is logged-in automatically. What happens is that the user xxxx is logged-in immediately i.e. without any delay. Do I understand the second variable wrong or am I missing something? Thanks for any help. K.D.J.

SCCP questions
Hi! I have two, not too related questions: - the probably simpler one: if anyone can help me out using a Cisco 7905G with chan_sccp? I did already managed to get it working with a SIP image, I'd just like to see it work with this one as well. It's probably something I screw up with the configuration, as the phone registers, only I don't get any lines with it, although I have it

deprecated ALERT_INFO var andAMI's Originate command
Since 1.4 ALERT_INFO variable has been deprecated. I used to send this via AMI: Action: Originate Channel: Sip/1234 Application: AgentLogin Data: 1234 Variable: _ALERT_INFO=info=alert-autoanswer Callerid: AutoLogin[1234] In order to send an autologin and autoanswer call to the agent 1234 on an Aastra phone at extension 1234. Strange problem from "identical" hosts
Long post.. sorry. Ok.. I've got three systems, all running openssh-3.0.2p1. As a matter of fact, they were installed from the same built tree, so I know they are the same. Here's the deal. I've got three systems, call them source1, source2 and target. All are HP-UX 11.0 systems installed from the same tree. Source1 and source2 both have thier root rsa pub keys in target's

autoLogin
I just installed Centos (version 4.4) and wondering how I can change things so I don't have to login. I am aware of the security implications for doing this but I would prefer this if I can do it. I believe it has something to do with autologin and if so how is this configured ?? --- Ted Gervais, Coldbrook, Nova Scotia, Canada

disabling the authentication agent?
Is there any way to disable the authentication agent globally? I'm not quite sure I understand it's purpose. Here is some background info: workstation: Key pair (dsa). host1: No key pair. No authorized_keys. host2: Has my workstation's key in authorized_keys. I ssh to host1 from my workstation. I ssh to host2 from host1. I am asked for a password. Good. I ssh to host2 from my

Move servers public/private keys to a new host
Is it possible to move a server's public and private keys from one host to another? Or perhaps a better way to ask what I really want... is it possible to configure a server on a new host to return the same public key it did on the old host? I'm in the process of migrating our CVS server from a Solaris host to a Linux host (this weekend) and I just realized the hostkey is going to

Gnome boot problem (again :-) )
Hello friends I was using EL7 on gnome 3 for few months without any problem. Even 2 hours ago I had the computer (Laptop running on Nvidia-Prime) turned on and everything was working without flaw. But when I turned on the computer few minutes ago, I got login screen (which does not usually happen, since I have autologin turned on) and when I entered my login credentials I got black screen and
