Hi all,
Please pardon me if this has been discussed already on this list.
I searched on "destination" and did not find a hit.
The problem I am trying solve is having backups on a remote server
that even root cannot not read. I have seen lot's of specialized file
systems and volume drivers for various operating systems. But being
that all files are already scp'd to the

WTLIB99 with wine-010510 tar ball broken again
Hi:
Remember that I somewhat enthusiastically wrote that a VB3 program
called "Watchtower Library 1999" now works with wine-010508?
Well, [un]fortunately it is broken with again with the
wine-010510 tar ball. (Thank you, Kin Lau for pointing this out to
me by e-mail.)
Description:
The main program window of WTLIB99 is just a small bar with buttons
and a menu on top of the buttons.

Two Versions Possible?
Hi,
Does anyone know the specifics of running two versions of WINE?
I have an old WinBlows app that will work only with the 20010216
version, but some of my other apps do run better with the latest
version of WINE. Would I be able to stick the old version somewhere
in my directory hierarchy and still have a newer version for my
newer apps? I suspect that the development folks do something

FreeBSD 12.0-RELEASE-p2 GENERIC amd64

Ever since updating from FreeBSD 11 to FreeBSD 12, I have experienced a
problem with samba. While still on FreeBSD 11, I configured a Windows
10 machine to write backups of selected directories to my FreeBSD
machine. That worked perfectly. No problems were detected and
everything was backed up correctly. However, after updating to FreeBSD

Non Asterisk - Apology to the list
As John Brown says in his mail why fill the list with netiquette posts,
yes he's right.
In my defence I just want to say that when you're fighting deep clinical
depression every thing that goes wrong seems a personal attack on you
and you forget about everything else including the results of your own
actions.
Again sorry folks.

[RFC] Injecting new element atomic memory intrinsics into MemIntrinsic class hierarchy
Hi all,
We somewhat recently created/updated element-wise unordered-atomic versions of the memcpy, memmove, and memset memory intrinsics:
Memcpy: https://reviews.llvm.org/rL305558
Memmove: https://reviews.llvm.org/rL307796
Memset: https://reviews.llvm.org/rL307854
These intrinsics are semantically similar to the regular versions. The main difference is that the underlying operation is performed
