[LLVMdev] RFC: Missing canonicalization in LLVM
So this change did indeed have an effect! :)
I’m seeing regressions in a number of benchmarks mainly due to a host of extra bitcasts that get introduced. Here’s the problem I’m seeing in a nutshell:
1) There is a Phi with input type double
2) Polly demotes the phi into a load/store of type double
3) InstCombine canonicalizes the load/store to use i64 instead of double
4)

[LLVMdev] RFC: Missing canonicalization in LLVM
Thanks for the reply Pete. Unfortunately, I don’t think it is going to be as simple as ignoring those loads which only store. In findCommonType(), only one alloca is passed in at a time. So, while you could find those cases where that alloca was loaded from and stored elsewhere, you can’t find those places that store to that alloca from somewhere else (at least not easily that I can see).
So

[PATCH] drm/nv50/graph: update list of mp errors, make it a bitfield
Signed-off-by: Ilia Mirkin <imirkin at alum.mit.edu>
---
The names come from envytools, of course. I'm a little concerned that
STACK_UNDERFLOW was wrong before, but perhaps it's because it was both an
underflow and a mismatch in whoever's test program?

libvirt_driver_storage.so /usr/lib64/../lib64/libfl.so.2: undefined symbol: yylex
Hello List,
I'm trying to get libvirt to work on slackware64-current
(slackware64-14.2 beta) and while it compiles just fine, it refuses to
run because of an undefined symbol:

[PATCH 2/2 V2] drm/nv50: Improve PGRAPH interrupt handling.
This makes nouveau recognise and report more kinds of PGRAPH errors, as
well as prevent GPU lockups resulting from some of them.
Lots of guesswork was involved and some part of this is probably
incorrect. Some potential-lockuop situations are handled by just
resetting a whole PGRAPH subunit, which doesn't sound like a "proper"
solution, but seems to work just fine... for now.

hard-coded MM_SWAP_TEMPLATE
Hard-coded MM_SWAP_TEMPLATE defined as "/var/run/sshd.mm.XXXXXXXX"
in openssh-SNAP-20020718/openbsd-compat/xmmap.c should not be used
because "/var/run" directory does not exist on some platohomes.

[PATCH] Fix typos, OpenBSD + Portable
Hi.
Whenever I notice a typo someplace, I fix it in a local "typo tree".
Attached is 2 patches from that tree, one against OpenBSD and the other
against Portable.
Is it worth fixing these?

[PATCH] Build problem in current portable CVS
Hi,
I just tried to build the latest portable code from CVS on Cygwin.
I stumbled over a problem with the definitions of gai_strerror and
ssh_gai_strerror.
On systems not having gai_strerror, the fake-rfc2553.c file defines
its own version of gai_strerror, and fake-rfc2553.h additionally has
this definition of gai_strerror:
#define gai_strerror(a) (ssh_gai_strerror(a))
OTOH, misc.c

Rewritten script /etc/init.d/tinc
THis is the modified script that came with tinc 1.0pre2, and it now uses ifconfig in stead of
ip-route.
I changed the syntax to be correct (may already have been fixedin a newer version), it now checks
whether or not there is a '/dev/tapX' or a '/dev/netlink/tapX' and it checks if there is a module or
not.
I also added the force_connect and the reload options. Force_connect send

Trying to install R-1.1.1 on Solaris RCC for you. Looks as though I
meant to before, as I had a TGZ of the previous release lying around.
