chroot patch for openssh 3.0.2p1
High all,
I'm running openssh 3.0.2p1 and it seems that the chroot patch delivered
in the /contrib folder of the portable distrib does not apply to this
release.
Does anyone know if i can find an updated patch.
Thanks

Intersection an Sum between list and matrix
Hello,
I need to do an intersection between the list elements (partitionslist) and
the columns and rows of a matrix (mm), so that the result will be the sums
of the rows and columns.
Thanks a lot,
Romildo Martins

ldAIX4 does not generate Rlapack.exp (PR#2893)
Full_Name: Richard L. Grubb
Version: 1.7.0
OS: AIX 4.3.3
Submission from: (NULL) (130.76.96.17)
src/modules/lapack/Makefile executes the tools/ldAIX4 script and supplies,
as arguments to ldAIX4, several object file names with filename extensions of
.lo.
The ldAIX4 script did not generate the file etc/Rlapack.exp until I changed
ldAIX4
as follows:

Fwd: Re: Bus Error with OpenSSH 3.7.1p2 on Solaris 8, SPARC 64-bit, YASSP
The following patch appears to fix the BUS error
received on Solaris 8. This problem manifests as an
immediate disconnect with no apparent cause
immediately after authentication with the host.

[PATCH node] Make all yes/no prompts consistent. rhbz#508778
Added a new function, "ask_yes_or_no", to ovirt-functions. It contains a
default prompt if none is provided.
Changed all prompts that ask for yes, no and/or abort to use this new
method.

[PATCH] fish: Set program name correctly for virt-{copy, tar}-{in, out} programs.
Set the (libguestfs handle) program name correctly when running
programs like virt-copy-in, so the program name is not "guestfish" but
"virt-copy-in".
Note this feature cannot be tested using the ./run script, since
libtool (buggily) resets the program name to "lt-guestfish". However
I tested it on the installed copy and it worked there.

[PATCH node] validify ipv4/ipv6 static/dhcp choice else loop
If you select an option that's not listed during ipv4/ipv6 setup it will accept it without verification. This corrects that behavior and forces a valid option to be picked.

roaming profiles ok, but what about the printers?
Hi there,
We have a little intranetwork with Samba 3.0.x as PDC. There are 20
Win2k-clients in several rooms and 18 users roaming from one machine to
another (according to their tasks). So any user has a roaming profile.
This runs almost perfect (some minor problems are still there, but the
the advantages are overwelming).
But there is one thing, I can't understand. Why does Win2k saves

[PATCH 00/13] Patch blast of salsa wip.testme branch
The contents are the wip.testme branch currently on salsa. I combined
the wip.initscript and wip.oxenstored into this and added more things
today. I think this is pretty gtg and it's smoke tested (in several
cases by scping files around instead of doing package build), so it
needs a final extra review and test round before putting it in master
branch (which I don't want to force push).

Transferring R to another computer, R_HOME_DIR
Hello,
I was looking at the R (installed on RHEL6) shell script and saw
R_HOME_DIR=/usr/lib64/R. Nowhere (and I could have got it wrong) does
it read in the environment value R_HOME_DIR. I have the need to rsync
the entire folder below /usr/lib64/R to another computer into another
directory location. Without changing the R shell script, how can i
force it read in R_HOME_DIR?
Or maybe i

upssched setup
Hi,
I am unable to get upssched working correctly as my UPS calls low battery too late and there is no way to change it.
I am running Nut 2.7.3 on Ubuntu 14.04
I have made this script, called /sbin/upssched-cmd.sh
#!/bin/sh case $1 in onbatt) /sbin/upsmon -c fsd;; *) echo "shutdown implemented";; esac
I am trying to run the script manually to break down my issues. All that
