Problem with OpenSSH =>3.7p1 on Linux \w Linux-PAM 0.77
Hello,
I'm currently running OpenSSH 3.6.1p2 successfully on older Slackware
Linux. Glibc in use is 2.2.2 and Linux-PAM 0.77. I have been compiling
OpenSSH for couple years until now with options
--sysconfdir=/etc/ssh --with-ipv4-default --with-pam \
--without-shadow --disable-suid-ssh
Unfortunately, upgrading to =>3.7p1 makes PAM-authentication fail.

different x-axes in Lattice
I use lattice package and 'barchart' to build a chart. I have a
problem with setting different x-axes. Some x categories are missing
but they are display and I don't want. I use scales = list(y =
"free",x="free") but it works only for y-axes. Simple example:
package(lattice)
barchart(yield ~ variety | site, data = barley,
groups = year, layout = c(1,6),

Excellent! Your solution is absolutely easier, and IT
WORKS! After following your instructions, "This Land"
by the JibJab brothers played without a hitch.
With your permission, I will write up an FAQ and give
you the credit.
If anyone has not seen "This Land" yet, you owe it to
yourself to take a look:

Underground Asterisk Command Set?
Hi People!
Is there an underground asterisk command reference
manual that the Gurus here share amongst themselves
only? :-)
The reason I ask is that sometimes I see mention of an
asterisk command and I scramble for my asterisk book
(pdf) to look it up but can't find it in there. For
example, I saw here last week people talking about the
Set() application with the "If" conditional

I keep being told that I need an additional plugin.
When I folow directions, I'm told I already have it?
At least once, I was told I needed to upgrade.
In case it helps, here is the output of

Icecast in Macromedia Flash
No audio with IE 5.5 SP2 on Windows 2k. Sorry for the bad news.
But why? Maybe it's a cross-site-error so that IE blocks access to a
different server for security-reasons? Could you please put the
player under the web-root of your icecast2-server and give us the
links? Maybe that helps - cause then the audio is coming from the
same URL.

z-machine + asterisk = fun!
I was tinkering with Asterisk and the Festival text-to-speech engine, and
wrote some short Asterisk::AGI scripts to read back live weather reports.
After that, I thought I needed something more interactive to work with...
Then I had a flashback to 1996, first year university, standing in the C
& O club at the University of Waterloo, where someone had just pulled out
their US Robotics Palm
