upgrade from 2.2p1 to 3.4p1
Hi,
We are trying to upgrade the openssh version from 2.2p1 to 3.4p1, but
we have found many issues/problems. If somebody could tell us any clue
to solve them, it would be appreciated:
- ssh client version 3.4 seems to be incompatible with sshd 2.2. is
this true or just we have not found the right options at the command line?
- we have thought to solve the previous issue to rename de old ssh to

OpenSSH 3.0.Xp1, AIX -> Sun trusted host problem
Hi, Folks ...
Apologies in advance for the length of this message, but I wanted to
be thorough, and provide as much info as I could. I'm trying to
figure out a problem in trusted-host authentication using AIX hosts
as clients, and a Sun host as the server; either I'm missing
something real obvious, or there might be a bug somewhere in some
piece of software involved here.

enable sftp subsystem for each authorized key
Hi,
I have been looking for info in the mail archive, but I haven't found
anything about this: is there any way to select which keys are
authorized to use de sftp subsystem and which ones not?
It means, if I include the sftp-server subsystem in the sshd
configuration file, it is available to everyone, isn't?
Thanks in advance for your time!

[LLVMdev] volatiles
The attached file contains some simple functions that manipulate volatile
varibles. The functions near the top of the file should turn into code
that loads from x and then stores to it. The LLVM version on the web (not
sure if it's the latest...) gets most of these wrong.

How to choose knots for GAM?
Hi, all
I want to choose same knots in GAM for 10 different studies so that they has
the same basis function. Even though I choose same knots and same dimensions
of basis smoothing, the basis representations are still not same.
My command is as follows:
data.gam<-gam(y~s(age,bs='cr',k=10)+male,family=binomial,knots=list(age=seq(45,64,length=10)))
What is my mistake for choice of

[RFC PATCH v1] armv7(float): Optimize decode usecase using NE10 library
Optimize opus decode (float only) use case using ARM NE10.
Mainly effects opus_ifft and ctl_mdct_backward and related
functions.
Work based on previous Encode optimization using ARM NE10
library.
TBD: Add commit id of upstream Encode NE10 optimization patch
so that users have reference of how to enable this optimization

[RFC PATCH v1] Decode(float) optimize using libNe10
Hello All,
I extended the libNE10 optimizations for float towards
mdct_backwards/opus_ifft.
I am able to get about 14.26% improvement for Decode use
case now on my Beaglebone Black. Please see [1] for measurements.
Questions
1. Since this patch needs to go in after Encode [2] patch)
should I submit this as patch series?
2. Since Jonathan Lennox posted intrinsics cleanup [3]
patch, should

ridiculous behaviour printing to eps: labels all messed up!
OK, this is really weird!
here's an example code:
t1<-c(1,2,3,4)
t2<-c(4,2,4,2)
plot(t1~t2, xlab="exp1", ylab="exp2")
dev.copy2eps(file="test.eps")
that all seems fine...
until you look at the eps file created, where for some weird reason, if you
scroll down to the end, the code reads:
/Font1 findfont 12 s
0 setgray
