Bug 1806
Hi all, I''m trying to get new tracker items to automatically send an email to this list, so I may run a couple of tests this week. You can ignore them. Heesob, can you please take a look at Bug 1806? I''m not sure if it''s possible or not, but it seems like a reasonable idea if it is. Regards, Dan __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? RE: Comparison of correlation coefficients - Details
Dear Ioannis Thank you very much for pointing me to meta-analysis. Although it may not solve my problem with the normalization, it gives me some other options to display the different correlation coefficients. One possibility is the use of Funnel plots, which are even available in library(rmeta). Another possibility is the use of forest-plots, as implemented in rmeta as metaplot. Sorrowly,

RE: Comparison of correlation coefficients - Details
Dear all I apologize for cross-posting, but first it is accepted custom to thank the repliers and give a summary, and second I have still the feeling that this problem might be a general statistical problem and not necessarily related to microarrays only, but I might be wrong. First, I want to thank Robert Gentleman, Mark Kimpel and Mark Reiners for their kind replies. Robert Gentleman kindly

Is this an index problem?
This is my first post to this list/gmane newsgroup, so please be gentle with me.... :-) Here's my situation: I have a user (the "main boss secretary") who uses MS Outlook 2007 as her email client. She has over 46,000 messages in her inbox, with nobody knows how many more in 75+ different folders & subfolders. Surprisingly, her response time wasn't too terrible up

"Invalid object" error in boxplot
Hi, I'm trying to make a boxplot with the data at the end of the message, and when I try to execute the command >boxplot(Diatoms) (or for any other field instead of "Diatoms") I get the following error message: Error in oldClass(stats) <- cl : adding class "factor" to an invalid object Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks a lot, Miriam Date
