It seems that on each host the peer files have been updated with a new

You can turn or the rdns check in krb5.conf but i did not test that.

NFSv4, homes, Kerberos...
Hai,
Hmm.. Bummer..
I just discovered the debian package dont have the vfs_nfs4acl include in the build.
And because of that it's not in my packages. I'll have a look into it, see what i can make of it.

[PGO] Thoughts on adding a key-value store to profile data formats
Hi all,
I'd liked to get your thoughts on possibly adding a generic key-value store
to the profile data formats for 'metadata'. Some potential uses cases:
*I. Profile Features*
The most basic use could be as a central repository for internal bits of
housekeeping information about the profile data. For example, to
differentiate between FE and IR instrumentation:

Netgroup/allow hosts problem
Hi,
I'm trying to limit access to pre-defined set of hosts. I already have a
netgroup (in
NIS) defined, which I would like to use.
Now the man pages for samba say that I can do :
hosts allow = @netgroup
When I try this I am asked for a username/password even though the share
has:
public=yes
If I limit the hosts to specific hosts i.e.:
hosts allow = hostname1, hostname2
This works fine

I'm new to this list and I hope this is the proper way to submit a bug. If not then please advise. Also I'm not a list subscriber so please email me directly and cc the list if appropriate.
I beleive I have found a bug in rsync. It is reproducable and easy to confirm.

GPFS for mail-storage (Was: Re: Compressing existing maildirs)
Great information, thank you. Could you remark on GPFS services hosting mail storage over a WAN between two geographically separated data centers?

Thank you for that, i did have a good look at that one.
And i use Debian 9, if you test what i posted below in the thread, you will see NFSv4 works fine.
Below is missing one more thing, the "allow to delegate (kerberos only) " on the computer object in the AD, should be enabled.
And yes, i've see bugchecks also but only on my debian .. Lenny.. Stt.. ;-) .. Its my last lenny

looks to me a bit overkill, but you wil have your reasons this a setup like this..

sftp logging
hello!
i want to use the new options for sftp logging (openshh version 4.5,
solaris 10), but sshd doesn't know the options (LogSftp, Sftpxxxxx)
from the release notes 4.4:
"
* Add optional logging of transactions to sftp-server(8).

4.5 is only a bug fix version.

Snow/openmpi
I'm running R/snow on a small cluster with opensuse, openmpi, and openshh. I
start up R with "mpirun -n 1 R --no-save". That works but it strikes me how
easily I get kicked out of R whenever I run into syntax errors. Is there a
way to avoid this, for instance, by starting up a regular R session and
invoking/activating(?) openmpi within R, e.g. by passing on extra arguments

openssh-2.5.2p2 on RedHat 6.2-1
I'm attempting to install openshh on my Linux machine.
I installed openssl-0.9.6 and then openssh. Everything appears to
compile and the keys are generated. When I attempt to connect I get an
error indicating an incorrect password. A system log entry from sshd
indicates a failed password.
I get the same results both with and without PAM support, and with and
without MD5 support.

I've have no problems. But When I try via the Internet I doesn't. If I run

OpenSSH and support for KTH-Krb4

I have tried to compile openssh-3.1p1 and then two
later snapshots. It seems that I can not have support
