ssh-keygen private keys export - new feature
Hello,
I had some difficulties in order to convert private keys between different
implementations of SSH.
So, I wrote the following patch to allow export of SSH2 RSA and DSA private
keys into IETF SECSH format.
Note that I also slightly revised the IETF SECSH key import code.
Usage: use of the "-e" option on a private key file generates an unencrypted
private key file in IETF SECSH

rsaref usage
First, when I tried to start sshd, I got the message
Starting sshd: ssh-keygen: no RSA support in libssl and libcrypto.
See ssl(8).
sshd: no RSA support in libssl and libcrypto -- exiting. See ssl(8)

So I thought I have to recompile openssl with rsaref flag to config.
When I did that, I got compilation error (this is version 0.9.5

Openssh, moduli and ssh-keygen
Hi,
my question is related to the kex algorithm
diffie-hellman-group-exchange-sha256 and moduli generation. I've seen that
through ssh-keygen, I'm able to re-generate my moduli file used by DH but
I'm note sure to understand one point in the ssh-keygen manpage :
"Screened DH groups may be installed in /etc/ssh/moduli. It is important
that this file contains moduli of a range of

Proposed patch: ssh-keygen allows writing to stdout for moduli generation
Hello all,
I propose the following patch to ssh-keygen.c for openssh version 4.5.
It allows to redirect output of the moduli operations to stdout, to do
something like e.g.:
$ ssh-keygen -G - -b 2048 | ssh-keygen -T - -f - >moduli
Best regards,
Christian

error with make clean in /usr/src
Hello,
I am getting errors when doing a make clean under /usr/src, I have always
done this before doing a make world, and never a problem. I have tried
deleting all of /usr/src and re cvsuped, but the problem persists.

ssh-keygen generator 3 broken.
Hello, I was re-generating the moduli for SSH, and during that process I noticed that, when running the following command:
ssh-keygen -M screen -O prime-tests=600 -O generator=3 -f moduli-2048-01.candidates moduli-2048-01c
It does not produce any errors, only the following:

Strange problem with "make clean"
Hello,
I'm experiencing a weird problem doing "make clean" in "/usr/src".
It happens on a couple of FreeBSD 4.8-RELEASE machines (RELENG_4_8 to
be precise).
Cvsup, build & install phases all went fine, just "make clean" went
wrong.
I tried rm-ing the incriminated subdirectory and even rm-ing the
checkout.cvs:RELENG_4_8 file and re-cvsupping but nothing

Thanks Joseph, Aki, but something missing from upgrade document, where
does the dh param file go? I located ssl-parameters.dat so I will put
it there.

[patch] ssh-keygen(1): generate Ed25519 keys when invoked without arguments
Dear all,
Ed25519 public keys being as small as they are is very convenient.
There is an opportunity to nudge the world towards modern algorithms.
I believe choices made in OpenSSH can positively impact the wider
eco-system and industry. I'd like to suggest ssh-keygen to generate an
Ed25519 keypair, if invoked without any arguments.
OpenSSH has supported Ed25519 since version 6.5 (January
