Re: URGENT!!!!! Problem: outlook.pst with samba 3.0.21c!!!!!!!!
You should give us a look at your smb.conf. AFAIK from my very own
experience: 3.0.21c somehow behaves different from 3.0.20 with the same
smb.conf. Maybe you have to set some values which did not have to be set
before.

[seeking help in using openssh to communicate b/w unix & windows. URGENT!!!]
You might try the free SSH client, putty (from:
http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/). It has a command line
SCP client (pscp) that will allow you to securely copy the file from Unix box,
under windows. I've used it and had excellent results.
Good luck,
Paul

Course Announcement
Dear everyone,
Your code is slow and you are interested in performance optimization for
scientific software? Figuring out where’s the bottlenecks guided by
performance evaluation tools.
If you are interested in porting your code to a HPC hardware platform and
architecture, than OpenACC as a user-driven directive-based
performance-portable parallel programming model might be a solution.

samba-tool drs showrepl shows WERR_BAD_NETPATH
Hello there,
I have a problem with replication between two domain controllers, dc1
and dc2.
Distribution: Debian 8.5
Samba-Distribution: sernet-samba 4.3.11-14
The replication on dc2 working fine without any failures.
But the synchronization on dc1 gives the failure "WERR_BAD_NETPATH".
Because the message "BAD_NETPATH" I checked the DNS-resolution:

Believe me, there is no technical reason why you can't use the current
update release of RHEL 7. Current is

If you have artificial constraints that limit your software to only what is available for old Extended Support systems them when that old software is not working, you need to go to the people providing the extended support and

Urgent Help required
Hi,
Our organisation has dependencies. There is a separate team/department who
creates the servers for us. When they build a new RHEL system, the system
will come up with various in-house softwares/tools. Those tools are not
compatible as of now with RHEL8. So, our organisation is going with redhat
7.7 only as of today which is supported for all in-house tools also.
This is my current situation:

Urgent help required for a newbie!
Iam running Samba 2.0.10 on a FreeBSD 4.2 platform within a Windows 98/2k
peer to peer network.
Most of the time this system appears to be working very well with the file
system nicely browsable by the client machines. Unfortunately, from time to
time the following error appears within the log.smb:
[2002/02/14 10:54:28, 3] lib/util.c:interpret_addr(1833)
Get_Hostbyname: Unknown host. ed0
